Andrea was going through the streets of brighton.

Her parents are not as rich as they have been, but they still had enough money to give it to her to go shopping, but she have to look at the prices now.

But after her followers came back, she was happy again. Her parents are not neglecting her so much anymore.

But then she saw someone sitting on a bench, who was not very happy. Someone she knew. Someone she likes. And seeing this person so sad, made her sad, too.

„Hey Molly, why are you looking so sad?“, Andera asked.

„Hi Andrea! Nice to see you!“, Molly answered.

„I don’t like to see you that sad! Please tell me what’s wrong!“, Andrea said and sat herself beside Molly.

„I don’t know if i can really tell you. I’m afraid you’re getting mad.“, Molly sighed.

„Why should i get mad?“, Andrea asked.

„Because...i had a secret all the time!“, Molly answered.

„Oh...you know what? It’s okay. I am sure you had your reasons.“, Andrea said.

Molly smiled a little.

„Thanks Andrea!“, she said. „Okay, i tell you.“

„Okay, what is it?“, Andrea asked, curious now.

„I lost a friend!“, Molly said.

„Oh my god, someone died?“, Andrea shrieked.

„Not exactly!“, Molly answered.

„What do you mean? Is someone you knew dead now or not?“, Andera wanted to know.

„Yes and no!“, Molly said, „He was dead and now he is alive again, but also dead!“

Andrea looked confused at Molly.

„He was a ghost, but his body was still alive and now he is back in his old body, so he is not a ghost anymore!“, Molly explained.

„A GHOST?“, Andrea shouted and almost fainted.

„Andrea, please keep calm!“, Molly pleaded. „I know you’re afraid of ghosts, but believe me, he was a very nice ghost. A little grumpy, but nice.“

„Okay, i believe you, because you are you, Molly! You would never have mean people for friends.“, Andrea said, „Okay, besides me of course!“

„Andrea, you’re not mean! At least not anymore!“, Molly smiled. „And despite what happened the 1st day of school, you did not anything mean to me!“

„Yeah...let’s please forget what i did back then. I am not proud of it! I really regret it, believe me! But you showed me that i was wrong, just beeing you. I learned from you, that kindness is more important as anything else. I had my followers, but not real friends. I am glad i can call you and Libby my friends now!“, Andrea said.

„I am glad, too!“, Molly smiled, „And i would like to show you, that there are more nice ghosts!“

„What? You know more of them?“, Andrea asked.

„Not only me. Libby, Ollie, June and I are the Ghostfriends, a troop which helpes unlucky ghosts to find there peace.“, Molly answered.

„So you are helping ghosts?“, Andrea observed, „And they really need help?“

„Yes!“, Molly answered, „Some of them are stuck in spooking. We help them to overcome it, so they can go into the ghost-dimension for good.“

„That sounds really nice, what you are doing for them!“, Andrea smiled, „But i did not expect anything less from you!“

„Thanks, Andrea!“, Molly smiled back.

„You are always doing nice things for everyone. Without you i would have never overcome my crisis, when my parents had to close Davenports and my followers left me. My parents left me alone with my pain, but you have been there for me!“, Andrea said.

„I would do that again anytime!“, Molly said and hugged Andrea.

„Uhm…Molly?“, Andrea asked.

„Yes?“, Molly answered.

„Would you mind, if i join your team?“, Andrea asked.

„Really? I thought you’re afraid of ghosts?!“, Molly said.

„Yes, i am. But what you told me sounds so sweet and maybe it could be a therapy for me!?“, Andrea explained. „Only if the others want me in there, of course!“

„You know Libby and Ollie, they like you. And i think June is okay with it, too!“, Molly said.

„Fine! Then please call me, if you are on the next mission!“, Andrea said.

„I promise!“, Molly said.

„Uhm...the friend you lost, i mean the ghost, how long did you know him?“, Andrea asked.

„One day before the first day of school, when we settled in our house.“, Molly said, „That we still own, thanks to you!“

Andrea turned red on the cheeks.

„I started it, but it was nearly the whole town, which helped you!“, Andrea said.

„But i will always keep thankful, that you have done it!“, Molly smiled.

„I could not let you living any longer in the woods!“, Andrea said, „And i would have been sad, if you really left the town!“

„Yeah, i love this town!“, Molly said. „And my friends!“

„We love you too, Molly!“, Andrea smiled. „I am going shopping. Do you want to come with me?“

„Sure, why not!? I could use some distraction!“, Molly answered.

And then they walked towards downtown, chatting and laughing together.

---

It was already late in the tranquil town of Brighton when Andrea Davenport's cell phone rang.

"Yes? Molly? What's up?" she asked. "A mission by the Ghost Friends? Yeah, right, I'm in! I'll be there right away!"

She rummaged through her closet for practical clothes. She didn't want to be a hindrance to anyone on her first mission.

She couldn't ask her parents to drive her there, and they no longer had a chauffeur. So she had to ride her bike.

When she arrived at the scene, she was panting heavily.

“Hi Andrea...um, is everything okay?” asked Molly.

"Yes...*cough*...everything's fine, thanks. I just don't ride my bike often enough," Andrea replied.

"Okay, guys, listen up!" said Molly. "There were tenants living in this house until a year ago. The ghost repeatedly terrorized them until everyone moved out. So our job now is to figure out why he did this."

"Let's not wait any longer and get in there!" said June, leading the way. Andrea, Molly, Ollie, and Libby followed her.

As they entered the hallway, Andrea felt uneasy. They only had flashlights because there was no electricity in the house.

"I suggest Andrea and I go upstairs, June stays here on the ground floor, and Libby and Ollie go down to the basement.

“Thank you for not leaving me alone!” Andrea whispered in Molly’s ear.

“Of course!” Molly replied.

It was pitch black upstairs. The floorboards creaked.

“Molly?” asked Andrea, “Do you feel like you’re being watched?”

"No!" Molly replied, "That's probably just your fear. Resist it!"

“It’s easy for you to say! You’re brave!” whimpered Andrea.

"You're braver than you think!" Molly replied. "Otherwise you wouldn't be here now!"

“Whatever you say, Molly!” said Andrea, trying to calm herself down.

But this peace did not last long.

“I think something touched my leg!” screamed Andrea.

"That was definitely nothing. We haven't seen a ghost yet!" said Molly.

But suddenly, Andrea was dragged through the corridor by her leg. A door at the other end opened, Andrea slid through, and the door closed again.

"ANDREA!" Molly screamed. She grabbed her radio and called the others for help. Or at least she tried to, because she got no response.

"Oh my God, what's going on here?" she thought. "He seems stronger and meaner than we thought.

She ran to the door and tried to open it. But it was locked.

"Andrea? Can you hear me? Hold on!" she screamed.

She ran down the stairs.

"June? Where are you?" she called. But she got no answer.

She ran into the basement, but there was no sign of her friends there either.

By now, Molly was also beginning to feel afraid. Is this ghost even worthy of help? Would it even want to accept help? Or is it only out to cause pain and destruction?

---

Molly ran back upstairs.

"I have to get into this locked room!" she said to herself. "But how?"

When she reached the top, she took a run-up and… “Ouch!”

She bounced off the door.

Suddenly the house started shaking for 30 seconds.

“Don’t wear me down with that!” she cried, “Give me back my friends!”

She took another run, but this time she tried a baseball slide.

The door wobbled a little, but didn't open.

“What should I do?” she thought.

Then she remembered that she had a screwdriver in her pocket.

"Good thing I took that!" she murmured. "Now I'll resort to more drastic measures!"

At first she tried to open the lock with it, but it didn't work.

Then she came up with the idea of simply expanding the lock completely.

After 15 minutes the door opened a crack.

“That’s enough for me!” she thought to herself and stepped inside.

It was pitch black in the apartment, except for a slight purple glow in the distance.

She approached it and noticed that it was shining through a crack under a room door.

She hastily opened the door and shouted: “I’m here to save you!”

“Oh, there you are again, Molly!” Andrea said happily.

“Yeah, where have you been for so long?” asked Ollie.

Libby and June just smiled.

"Huh?" Molly asked, her eyes wide open. "What is this?"

"A tea party!" grinned Andrea. "May I introduce you to Antonia?"

“Who is Antonia, please?” asked Molly.

“The ghost, you silly thing!” laughed Andrea, stroking Molly's hair.

“Hi!” said Antonia.

“Um...hi!” Molly replied.

"I'm sorry I scared you so much!" Antonia said, embarrassed. "I didn't know who you were at first!"

Molly sighed, but was still relieved.

"Okay...so how can we help you then?" asked Molly.

"Oh, you could even get with that real estate shark who scammed me. I can't get away from here!" Antonia replied.

"Um...it's not that simple. There's no evidence he did it illegally," said Molly.

Antonia's eyes turned red and a bright purple veil enveloped her.

“Then I’ll just have to keep raging here!” she said in a growling voice.

Everyone trembled, except for Molly, who replied, "I understand you, but it's no use! Nobody lives here anymore anyway. And if it stays empty much longer, it will be torn down!"

“Really?” Antonia asked in surprise, now looking completely normal again.

"Yes, really!" Molly assured her. "We have to trick him!"

"My father has good lawyers, maybe they can do something about it!? Then the house will belong to your children and you'll finally be free!" said Andrea.

“You would really do that for me?” Antonia asked happily.

"Of course. We may not be as rich as we used to be, but we're still quite well-off. Sure, my father won't be thrilled at first, but I have my tricks to wrap him around my finger!" grinned Andrea.

Antonia flew over to Andrea and hugged her. "Thank you, Andrea!"

“I'm happy to help!” smiled Andrea.

Everyone stayed for a while and celebrated with their new ghost friend.
