Chapter Text
Chara gets up at 10 AM with a splitting headache making them lie back down on the bed. They feel dizzy, their head is warm but all Chara can focus on is the pain. Chara can’t get up to get some medicine. They get their phone off the charge and call Clover.
”Hey Chara! What’s up?” Clover asks. “Clover talk quieter I’m really sick.” Chara says. “Oh sorry. Do you want me to come through and get you some medicine?” Clover says quieter. “Yes Clover.” Chara says very tired and quiet.
A few minutes later Clover comes through with some pain medicine and a bucket. “What’s the bucket for?” Chara asks. “You got a really bad headache. I really feel like you’re going to throw up.” Clover says. “Smart plan. Unlike you to think that far ahead.” Chara says. “What’s that supposed to mean?” Clover asks. “Oh nothi-“ Chara’s response is cut off by them coughing. Clover puts their hand to Chara’s forehead and feels it burning up. “You’re really warm…” Clover says. “Clover… get the bucket…” Chara says. “Oh! Okay!” Clover says grabbing the bucket and putting it under their face at they sit up. Chara throws up into the bucket.
Hours of this go by and Clover stays by Chara’s side the entire day. They vomit several more times that day. By the night they are completely exhausted and fall asleep at 9 PM way earlier than they would normally. Clover tucks them in and stays next to them the entire night.
”Get better soon Chara.” Clover says before falling asleep in the chair.
