This isn't a love story(right?)-LAMS

Summary:

It's a lams royal Au but also not?? I don't know...tsk

Henry Laurens is a very wealthy and powerful emperor. His eldest son, John Laurens, has never had any interest in women.

It's probably just because of his studies.

George Washington is a respected ruler of America(king, president, idrc) and his head guard, Alexander Hamilton, is...a bit immature. On a trade visit between Washington and Henry, Hamilton is unsupervised and runs into a certain blonde. But it's not like they'll ever be friends. They hate each other.

Notes:

I love lams so much ahhhhh
There aren't very many royal au's for lams so why not make my own! I'll make art for it and post the art throughout and might also include some comics ooh fancy but uh yeah! Enjoy!!

Chapter Text

Alexander POV:
His Excellency dragged me on a visit to Henry Laurens' empire for some kind of business thing. As a head guard, it's my duty to ensure safety of our ruler but he mostly just lets me wander about. So long as I don't break anything...which is a hard ask. I would prefer to return home soon, as me and my dear Meade made plans together but I suppose I can wait a bit longer. Although it is quite boring. I've heard many tales of how great and inspiring the Laurens' are, but Henry is a bit rude. I don't expect his children to act any differently. I haven't heard great things about them, but the eldest is apparently super invested in his studies. So much so that he hadn't been married despite being of age. Huh, the guy really enjoys his studies I guess. I can relate as one of my hobbies is writing. Some say I write too much...I don't think so at all. It's normal to write 5 hours a day! Although I would write more if I didn't have my guard duties to attend to. Maybe then I'd write too much. Caught up in my thoughts, I didn't even register the body in front of me, and only did when we collided mid-step.

"Oh! I'm terrible sorry, that was very foolish of me!" A voice said.

A hand reached out and I took it. The person hauled me up and I got a good look at them. They were a young male, around my age. He had blond hair tied back in a ponytail and was carrying books. He was wearing a white blouse and breeches, as well as stockings and a waistcoat. He looked a bit plain to me, so I was surprised when I recognized him as John Laurens, the eldest son of Henry Laurens.
