"I don't think I could've done it." Ja'far stated while he lay next to his wife, sitting in the silence for a while.
"What the Princess did?" Sherrezade asked, turning her head to look at her husband.
"No- well, yes. That girl," He chuckled softly, thinking fondly about the Princess. "She was truly special, that one, I do not know how she did it. But no, that was not what I meant."
"Well, do tell then, Ja'far."
"Being a djinn. I don't think I could've lived here for eternity if not for you and your company, I might've gone mad."
"Well, that Princess did so much right with her wishes, I'm grateful that she was so kind as well."
A warm smile spread across Ja'far's face as he took in the beauty of his wife, gratefulness filling his entire being that he was able to have a life outside of pop-culture from unknown years/centuries. He had contact, and it was with his most favorite person. He wouldn't give it up for any riches in the world, he would play his life over and over again if it meant this outcome every time. Sitting on a couch, with the woman he loved the most, with access to any entertainment in the world, for eternity.
Ja'far couldn't possibly have wished for anything more.
