Cody sat at his desk, typing in a document on his laptop. The sun shone through the window of his room, lighting up the wall that held his EMT certificate and a picture of him and Blurr.
Blurr, giving a thumbs up, was kneeled down beside Cody, holding up his certificate.
There was another picture that held all of Cody’s family and the bots, Cody holding his certificate there as well.
Cody sighed, running a hand down his face as he closed his laptop, closing it with a soft thud. He had just finished half of the Academy’s planning for the recruits. Most of them were places where the kids wouldn’t have to act like bots, but some of it was human medical stuff that Medix would need.
“Hey, Cody!” Blurr’s helm popped up behind the window, since he was tall enough to reach Cody’s room.
Cody smiled, “Hey, Blurr.”
“You done with your data work -I mean document stuff?” Blurr asked with a stammer, it was clear he was excited for what he and Cody were going to do next. Afterall, who wouldn’t be excited to enter races again?
Cody hid a chuckle and nodded, “Sure am, but the race doesn’t start till three pm and it’s only one.”
Blurr smiled, “Then that means we have enough time to get me all ready!”
Cody peeked his head out of the window as Blurr ran out and then came back with a hurriedly set up waxing station —except it looked more like a mess of cleaning objects thrown around but Cody knew what it was.
Time to make the speedster shine.
