Naoto and Nagatoro were walking home together. After confessing their feelings at the beach after Nagatoro defeated Orihara in a judo tournament, they were officially a couple. Naoto smiled, "Wow, I can't believe that Nagatoro and I are a couple! I never thought that this day would come!" Nagatoro noticed Naoto and grinned. "Senpai, are you having lewd thoughts about me?" That question brought Naoto back to reality, "What? No! Nothing like that!" Naoto looked at Nagatoro, I just can't believe how lucky I am, that you and I are a couple." Nagatoro smiled, "Yeah, I can't believe it either." They both reached their arms out and held each other's hands. They kept holding hands until they reached Nagatoro's house. "Good night, Senpai. See you tomorrow!" "Good night, Nagatoro." Naoto waited for Nagatoro to enter her house and he heard her sister's voice inside the home. "Hey, sis! Why were you and Senpai-kun holding hands? Are you two going out? Come on, tell me everything!" He heard Nagatoro respond, "It's none of your business!" Naoto laughed, as much as he wanted to stay and hear Nagatoro's sister tease her, he had to go home.
Naoto walked by the park on his way home when he looked up at the sky and saw a streak of light. "Oh, cool, a shooting star!" Naoto's awe wouldn't last long as he saw the meteor change direction and go straight towards him. Naoto ran as fast as he could but was sent flying due to the shockwave of the meteor. Naoto got up and shook the dirt off his clothes. "What just happened? Why did that meteor come straight at me?' Naoto then turned towards the stop the meter had struck and walked towards it. He then saw a capsule open and inside it was a digital wristwatch. "That's weird, why would a watch come from the sky?" He picked it up; it featured a white, green, and black color scheme. The device had a black square faceplate with two green stripes forming an hourglass shape. He put the watch on and it attached itself tightly to his wrist as soon as he did. Naoto was terrified as he tried to remove it but couldn't. He decided to go home and would try to remove it there.
After getting home, Naoto entered his room and sat on his bed. He carefully examined the watch attached to his wrist. He grabbed a pair of scissors he had lying around and tried to cut through the watch only for the scissors to dent. He thought about using a knife but decided against it because the same thing might happen. He then had an idea, maybe the watch had a feature that could release his wrist. He touched the faceplate making a holographic dial appear along with a selection of weird images. "What kind of watch is this? Whatever, I'm going for a random one," he said as he turned the dial to the image that resembled a monkey. After selecting the image, the face plate slid back revealing a black button with a green hourglass symbol. "Maybe I have to press it to unlock it." Naoto hesitated to press the button but he decided to press it anyway. As soon as he did, his skin began to turn blue. Fur started to grow on his body, and his arms elongated while two additional arms sprouted from his sides. A tail began to form, and an extra set of eyes appeared. In the end, all of his eyes became yellow, and his face morphed into the shape of a monkey's. Finally, an emblem resembling an hourglass appeared on his chest. After the transformation, Naoto looked at himself in the mirror and screamed at what he had become. "What happened to me? I'm a monster!" As soon as Naoto thought the night couldn't get any worse, he heard his mom call out, "Nao-kun, I'm home! Are you asleep? I'm coming up." Panic welled inside Naoto at how his mom would react to seeing him in this form. Naoto quickly created a decoy of him sleeping using pillows. He then rushed toward the window and jumped out before his mom entered the room. "Oh, you are asleep. Well goodnight, sweetie." Naoto, who was by the window, let out a sigh of relief and climbed up towards the roof. Once he reached the top, he paused to reflect on how he managed to stick to the wall and scale it. He decided it didn't matter; he was stuck like this. He realized he would have to live his life alone and would never see his friends or Nagatoro again. However, an idea struck him—Nagatoro was the only person he could trust. Naoto began making his way to Nagatoro's house. If there was any advantage to his current predicament, it was that he was incredibly fast and agile. He leaped from rooftop to rooftop until he finally stood in front of Nagatoro's house.
Meanwhile, Nagatoro couldn't sleep due to what happened earlier that day. She had a big smile because she couldn't wait to see her Senpai the next day. She then heard a knock on her window. Nagatoro got out of bed and looked through the window. She didn't see anything, so she opened it. The head of a four-eyed monkey appeared above her window. "Ok, don't freak out now," the monster said as Nagatoro screamed and fell over at what she saw. The monster entered her room and tried to calm her down. "Nagatoro, it's me! It's Naoto!" "Senpai? What happened to you?"
After explaining what had happened after he left her at her house, Nagatoro started to calm down. "So, you encountered a watch that fell from the sky, attached to your wrist and it transformed you into that?" Naoto replied, "Yes, and now, I'm stuck like this. I'm scared, Nagatoro." Nagatoro could see the tears forming in his now four eyes, she walked towards him and embraced him. "I don't care what you look like, Senpai! You are always going to be my senpai." Naoto smiled at Nagatoro, "Thanks, that's just what I wanted to hear!" Suddenly, a beeping sound came from the emblem and a green light filled the room. Nagatoro protected her face from the light and when the light faded, a human Naoto stood before her. "Yes, I'm back!" While Naoto was celebrating, Nagatoro examined the wristwatch. "Hey, Senpai, you said that that watch came from space?" "Yeah, I thought that it was a shooting star." "And you saw other images before you transformed, right?" "Yeah, why?", asked Naoto. "I think that this watch can transform you into different aliens." Naoto's eyes opened in shock, "Aliens?" "Yeah," Nagatoro grabbed Naoto's wrist, "Now, let's see what other aliens there are." Naoto responded, "Nope, there is no way I'm activating this thing again! What if next time…I won't be able to change back?" Nagatoro smiled, "Come on, Senpai, don't tell me you aren't at least a little curious." Naoto didn't want to admit it, but he did want to see what else the watch could do, on the other hand, what if he didn't get so lucky next time? Naoto finally responded, "Alright, we'll find out tomorrow in the art room. Goodnight, Nagatoro!" Naoto walked toward the window and was about to jump out until he realized he was human again. "Um, Nagatoro, could I leave through the front door?"
The next day, Naoto entered the art room and saw Nagatoro sitting on the couch waiting for him. "Took you long enough, Senpai. Did you sleep well?" "Yeah, I guess." "That's good. So, Senpai, I've been thinking and I don't think you should do this. What if those aliens are somehow sentient? I don't want to lose you." Naoto responded, "You won't. Trust me, I'll be fine" "Are you sure, Senpai?" "Yes, let's do this!" Naoto said as he touched the faceplate making the dial appear. Nagaatoro asked Naoto, "Which one are you going for?" Naoto replied, "I think I'm going with this one. Here goes nothing!" Naoto pressed the button, and rocks enveloped him completely. As the rocks began to crack, a fiery orange light emerged, resembling molten magma. Flames erupted from his head, and an hourglass emblem appeared on his chest. Once the transformation was complete, a green light filled the room. Nagatoro opened her eyes, shocked to see what her boyfriend had become. "Senpai, are you okay in there?" "Yeah, I'm fine even though I'm literally on fire." "Senpai, did you feel any pain when you transform?" "Surprisingly no, it feels more so like a stretch." "Do you know what this guy does?" "Well, based on my appearance, I can control fire." "What about the monkey?" "He was basically a monkey with spider powers" "Really? That's kind of cool." Suddenly, the door flew open and there were Gamo, Yoshi, and Sakura standing outside the door. "Hayacchi, Paisen, we heard about you guys! Congrats! We knew you would end up…AH! Hayacchi, stay back, we'll protect you!" Yoshi grabbed a broom and said, "Yeah, we'll protect you!" Nagatoro yelled, "Don't hurt him, that's Senpai!" "What do you mean that's Paisen?" Naoto replied, "I found this watch that could turn me into different aliens." "Paisen, you got five minutes to explain!"
Meanwhile, outside the solar system was a large spaceship; inside the spaceship, a menacing large dull green alien sat on a throne. "Have you found the Omnitrix?" he asked one of his soldiers. "We managed to trace it to the planet called Earth." The alien replied, "Send drones to look for it." The soldier bowed down, "Yes, Lord Vilgax." As the soldier went to send the drones, he encountered a masked man in black armor standing in front of him. "Actually, change of plans," the man said, "You will not send anything to Earth." Vilgax asked, "Who are you and what are you doing in my ship?" The man laughed, "So many questions and so little time. Listen, you're not going to find the Omnitrix because I have my own plans, and I don't want you to interfere. So, you need to stay put while I take care of what I need to do. Do you understand?" Vilgax scoffed, "Who do you think you are? Giving me orders?" Vilgax charged at the man only for him to be hit by a beam of energy puncturing a hole through the gigantic alien. He fired more energy beams until Vilgax's body was filled with holes making him unrecognizable. Vilgax's servants were shocked at seeing their master being defeated so easily. "I recommend that you place him in your healing chamber." The man looked at his wrist and then at Vilgax, "Oh, would you look at the time, gotta go. And to answer your question from earlier, the name is Eon." The man disappeared in the blink of an eye. Suddenly, the ship began exploding until there was nothing left of the once-powerful spaceship.
