Chapter Text
“Okay, is everyone done packing? Our camping trip is in two days.” Father said.
“Yes. I’m done packing.” I responded.
“Michael, Chris? Are you two done?” Father asked as he turned to my brothers.
“We’re done packing, Dad. I checked.” Michael replied.
“Good.” Father uttered.
I walked up the stairs and entered my domicile.
I hoisted my portmanteau and audited it. It contained my lot that I entail.
A day passed.
I got out of my cot. I sauntered over to my chiffonier and retrieved my clothes.
I got dressed in my attire and headed to the lower level of my residence.
I sat down at the table.
After, Father handed me my portion of matutinal repast which I accepted.
My brothers descended from their quarters. They, too, retrieved their repasts from Father.
We ate until the plates were vacant of any morsel.
