BRIGHTNEY'S POV!!!!
Vee's been on edge lately
ever since that update that Dandy implanted in her. I hope she's alright? I mean,
I know she's been,, weirdly,... obsessive with Shelly recently
and I know Shelly hasn't noticed,
she noticed the attention! just not the..
obsession.
"Vee?" I said aloud, turning around when I heard her walking over, concern etched all over my features.
"Yes, Brightney?" she sounded pissed, what could've gotten her upset at 10:30 am?
"yoouu.. okay?" I asked, walking with her once she started to walk off
"Yes. Just looking for Shelly." She spoke condescendingly, like I was a child.
"Shelly? Again? Weren't you JUST with her?" I asked, my concern growing with each word her speakers emitted
"Yes. But she's been gone for awhile, I was just worried, Brightney." she said clearly, talking to me again, as if she was above.
"Arent you being,, needy?" I asked, knowing well of Shelly's frustration if she found out Vee was acting like this.
"I'm NOT acting "needy" Brightney." She said loudly, her speakers glitching with her frustration as she stormed off.
Well, that was a lost cause for sure.
I sighed, walking away and to the kitchen, maybe Sprout, or Cosmo would know what was going on with her? I knew Sprout checked on EVERYTOON daily, so it was kinda weird to not hear from him today.
Was he hurt ..?
I walked into the kitchen, calm and steady as the aroma of pancakes and bacon hit me.
Cosmo was baking calmly. humming, though Sprout was no where to be seen
"Oh! Sprout! You finally came!" He said happily, turning around, his face dimming in confusion when he saw it was me
"Oh, sorry Brights! didn't mean to mistaken you for Sprout! Whats up though?" he asked in his usual cheery tone
.. it sounded forced.
"Uh, I was actually looking for Sprout too.. you haven't seen him either?" I asked, concern gnawing at me, for both Sprout and Vee.
"No.. Should I be worried?" he asked, turning around to face me, he was just as concerned. concerned enough to the point his frosting was dripping slightly
"Ill find him soon enough." I sighed out, walking over to fix it
"also.. your making a mess." I pointed out, pointing to the floor where some batter had gotten
"Oh! Right! Ill clean it up soon, thanks for reminding me, Brights!"
I nodded, smiling, then I was on my way to find Sprout.. again.
