hope you like this, Ryn!! i did two different sketches of jane/sabina before deciding on carol/valkyrie, i could send those to you if you want hehe

Work Text:

dark blue background, two frames. In the first, a drawing of carol and valkyrie on the hoopty, heart and star doodles outside the windscreen. carol sitting in her chair wearing a red coat with high collars and a star on her shoulder. her eyes are closed as she leans down to kiss valkyrie's hand, who is standing in front of her, smiling down at her. a speech bubble above carol, she says "to what do i owe the pleasure, your majesty?" valkyrie replies, "it is valentine's day on earth, your highness." carol says, "oh, i haven't celebrated valentine's day in decades. i dont remember half of them." the second frame is of a bouquet of flowers and a red heart shaped box with star patterns and a yellow ribbon tied into a bow. heart and star doodles behind it. valkyrie says, "I haven't tried this sweet treat, but the nice midgardian told me it's a safe choice, vegan and peanut free... You're not allergic to flowers are you? Imagine the mighty captain marvel defeated by plants." carol says, "haha... thank you, val. I didn't get you anything though... dinner on me? there's this place..."
