“You never feel more alive than when you're almost dead.”
She had said that to a rookie agent many cycles ago, and that had always remained true.
Especially considering she was driving across not-so-smooth pavement at speeds beyond limit, dodging blaster fire.
She had not expected that things would have gone south, it was supposed to be a simple in-and-out mission.
Quickshadow dodged a close call, a blaster shot hitting almost too close to her spoiler. She wanted to use her energon blaster, but since these were humans, they wouldn't survive, and she'd have to also transform —which would not benefit the situation at all.
Fortunately, the smoother part of the road finally graced her tires and she deployed an oil slick.
Oil spilled from her exhaust pipes, splattering the road with black, slippery petrol, causing the car shooting behind her to lose control —sliding across the pavement and crashing into bushy plants.
Quickshadow smirked to herself and sped off, finally, that was taken care of.
Once she was far enough, she summoned a Groundbridge, and walked through the green aura.
Mission complete.
