“ Huh, valentine’s is coming up tomorrow, and I haven’t prepared anything for miles….Oh god.”
Phoenix panics, he realizes just how scary it would be to see a saddened miles on valentine’s because he didn’t receive any gifts from his own husband.
“WHAT DO I DO??????????? GOD DAMMIT PHOENIX THINK!!”
He tries to think of something…he feels like he can’t come up with anything, until…
“ * deep breathes* alright, maybe I can ask someone for advice? But who? Hm…AHA!”
Money is very tight right now, so Phoenix can’t just buy steel samurai merch, though that makes him worried, he realizes that he can gift miles crafts, and two of his closest friends, Larry and maya, are pretty good at that, so he decides to call them up, and he calls maya first
* calling up maya *
“C’MON PICK UP PICK UP PICK UP…”
*maya picks up*
“OH MY GOD LET’S GO!!”
“Oh hey nick!! I’m currently at the park with pearls, is something up?”
“Hey maya, I know this sounds silly but…I REAAALLY need help on deciding what to get miles for Valentine’s..”
“Oh, isn’t it obvious? Why not buy some steel samurai merch for him?”
“Well…that’s the thing, I don’t have the money for that, but I still wanna get him something, I thought about making some crafts and so that’s why I’m asking you for some help”
“Ohh, I see! Alrighty then, I’m the master of DIY crafts after all, I can definitely make something!”
“Well that is true, your crafts are truly unique and interesting, and thank you”
“No problem! I’ll see ya when pearls is done playing”
“See you.”
* Phoenix hangs up*
* a few minutes passes by*
“Hmmm…maybe I should ask Larry too? He’s also very good at crafts, he’s an artist after all”
Phoenix decides to call up Larry, since he thought that he had experience in gifting, after all he also gets his friends gifts he draws and crafts himself, and he always pours his heart into them.
*calling up Larry*
“Yo Nick! What’s up?”
“Hey Larry, I hope this doesn’t sound silly or anything, but can I ask you a little favor? It’s for miles..”
“Oh, is it for Valentine’s? I’m guessing because that’s coming up very soon!”
“Yeah, I’m not sure about what to get for him…I’m REALLY stumped, and I don’t have the money for steel samurai merch either.”
“Awh man…ya don’t say?”
“Yup..I thought about making some crafts, and since you know a thing or two I decided to call up”
“Oh Don’t worry! for I, AM LARRY BUTZ! THE BEST GIFTER IN THE WHOLE WORLD!! I’ll come over and maybe we can plan things out!”
“Alright then, thank you Larry.”
“No problem Nick! See ya!”
*larry hangs up*
“Alright, now I can relax a little bit until they come over.”
< 30 minutes pass by >
*maya knocks on the door repeatedly*
“Oh that must be maya, only she knocks like that”
*phoenix opens the door for maya and Pearl*
“Hey Nick! I got a lot of stuff in this bag, and I brought pearls too! She knows a thing or two about crafts as well, and she wants to help!”
“Mhm, I’d really love to help you out mr.nick! Though I’m not the best at this, I still wanna try, especially because this is for the love of your life!”
“Thank you both-“
*larry knocks*
“Oh, that must be Larry since I also invited him to help me out with the crafts!”
“Ooh!! The more the merrier!”
“Let me go get it”
*phoenix opens the door for larry*
“Yo Nick, I got a bunch of art supplies in this bag! We should have everything we need”
“Hey Larry!”
“Oh, hey maya! You’re here too?”
“Yeah! Nick invited me as well, I brought some clay and a bunch of pencils, I also got pearls to come along with me, and she brought some crayons!”
“AYYYYY!!! That’s nice! So when do y’all wanna start?”
“Let’s rest for a little while, then we can start”
“Alrighty then!”
< another 30 minutes passes by >
“alright, I’m gonna start drawing now!”
“I’ll help you out as well, mystic maya!”
“I’ll start painting then! Nick, do you wanna paint as well?”
“Hmm..sure, hopefully I can remember a thing or two from my days when I was an art student”
Everyone has started working, maya and pearl are making some steel samurai drawings, Larry is also painting some steel samurai drawings, and Phoenix is trying to make a painting of himself and miles together, everyone is working hard to prepare nice gifts, and they’re all pouring their hearts into it.
Two hours pass by, and everyone is done with their thing
Maya and pearl show off their drawings, Larry and Phoenix show off their paintings, and thankfully Phoenix remembers stuff from the days when he was an art student, and everything turned out incredible, though pearl is really nervous about whether miles will like her drawings or not, everyone else is encouraging her and reassuring her

After a little bit Trucy is finally home from school, and she sees everything happening and gets curious
“Hey daddy! I’m finally home, what are you guys doing?”
“Oh, hey trucy! Welcome home, and well…there’s a lot happening at the moment, I’ll explain”
“Alrighty!”
Phoenix tells trucy that he’s preparing some gifts for miles with the help of Larry, maya and pearl, and trucy decides to join In and help them out as well
She decided that she will prepare a little magic show dedicated to her dads, and she will prepare some crafts as well since everyone’s doing that as well.
And phoenix has decided to prepare some nice gift cards, although maya is being a little impatient.
“Hmm…alright! I think this turned out great”
“OOOH OOOOH LET ME SEE NICK! LET ME SEE!!”
“Alright alright, calm down maya, here you go”
*card reads “I’m guilty…of loving you!”*
“OMG, THIS IS SO CUTE!”
“I know right? I hope he likes it..”
“I’m sure he will, don’t worry Nick!!”
Larry and trucy are currently trying to make some figures out of clay, it’s taking a while but the sculpts are coming to life, and looking really great
After a while everyone is finally done, and they’ve decided to take a break
Everything is prepared, and all the things they made are put away in a safe space, and everyone has gone home.

It’s the day, everyone has prepared their gifts, and are all ready to present them to miles.
“Alright, I’ve messaged him to come over, let’s wait and see what happens..”
“What do you think is gonna happen, Nick?”
“Yeah mr.nick, what’s up?”
“We’ll..I’m just worried that he won’t be so impressed with everything, even though we worked so hard for all of this”
“Of course he’s gonna love it! Valentine’s doesn’t have to be about expensive gifts or chocolates, it’s about being there for your loved ones and appreciating them like you always do, especially on a day like this!”
“Huh…you’re right, maya…”
“I’m not wright, YOU are!”
“Oh c’mon.”
“Alright alright, let’s just wait for him shall we?”
“Of course.”

“Hm, I’m not sure why wright wanted me to come over, he said it’s for a “surprise” and although I’m not sure, it’s definitely something for valentine’s.”
*miles opens the door*
“Happy Valentine’s, my love”
“Happy Valentine’s, papa!”
“Happy Valentine’s, miles!!”
“Happy Valentine’s, Mr.edgeworth!”
“Happy Valentine’s, edgy!”
“Oh…oh my…you all prepared these…for me?”
“Yeah! It was nick’s idea, he wanted to do this, then asked me and Larry for ideas, and pearls and trucy decided to join in!”
“I…I can’t believe it..thank you all, truly..”
“I’m glad you loved it, I was so worried that you wouldn’t like all of these that I almost lost sleep because of it..”
“Why wouldn’t I? It was made with lots of love, and Valentine’s gifts don’t have to be fancy or whatever.”
“I…love you, miles.”
“I love you too, Phoenix.”
* they kiss *
“YOOO THIS IS SO AWESOME!!”
“So sweet! This is what true love is all about!”

After miles looks at every gift prepared, trucy takes the time to preform a little show she practiced precisely for this moment, and everyone is very amazed and pleased.
After everything is over, everyone goes back to their place, and after a few hours pass, everyone goes to bed and the day is over.
