As a child, you’ve always been the one to cause chaos in your family, said it was a “mutation” in the perfect picture family that you had.
So in the end of countless useless arguments with your parents, you moved out at 16.
Now you live at your friend’s house, Giselle. However, recently, your life has just been a bit too boring for you, so to have fun you decided to start a project for your last year of high school.
Even though you usually only do these things during break (in which the last project was to pretend to like someone and make them ask you out. Which worked after all putting on a long show in the summer project but it was fun to watch them fall deep into the trap). Soon enough, after pondering for about a week in your large house before school started, you decided to make a whole friend group fall in love with you.
You were confident that it would work, you’ve had other projects like this during high school and they’ve always worked. So as soon as you stepped a foot back into that school you started looking for some new targets entertaining your friends Jihoon, Taehyun and Yujin.
Soon enough after 3 periods you didn’t find anyone you liked so you decided to drop it for a little bit, until, while you were walking around for the restroom onto your way to 4th period. You found a boy studying by himself in a classroom with a friendship keychain on his lanyard, so you walked inside confidently, your heels echoing on the flat ground as you walked into the room and closed the door and threw a smile at him as you introduced yourself with your hand out.
“Hi, my names Y/N, nice to meet you,” you say after countless introductions you’ve perfected it to the brim just for the boy to say,
“I already know you, what do you want don’t bother me I’m trying to study,”
You watched the boy shocked at his dismissal of your well performed introduction, but soon came back to what your plan was and pushed down the shock through you and decided to just sit down in front of the boy as you replied back.
“Well, no need to be so rude,” you swallowed, “we don’t even have any exams to study for what, so are you even studying for”
“History, and we have a test next week” the boy replied, somewhat less rude than before by the tone you noticed.
As you were about to say something, the break bell for 5 minutes left sounded so you had to get up and leave now.
“Well great,” you sigh, “guess I have to go now, see you around pretty boy,” you get up and wink on your way out to see him hiding a small creep of blush on his face.

Soon enough you got to your classroom and sat down next to your friend Giselle and told her all about it before your teacher arrived.
“Wow girl you’re playing a risky game” she said after you finished as she was amused at your actions but still believed in your decisions.
But unfortunately your teacher—Ms. Pak—decided to walk in and silence the class before you even got to say more.
As you sat through the class bored, because after all you were actually smart and had good grades and understood what you were learning, you thought about what you could do now after your little interaction with the boy.
As expected, it was now lunch break so you sat with your group of friends at your usual spot with Giselle, Soonyoung, Jihoon, Taehyun, Yujin, and Wonyoung. They were all well known in the school for their crazy visuals and well, Yujin and Wonyoung were the dance beauties of this school. Everyone knew them all from the seniors to freshmen. Soonyoung was a dance prodigy and Jihoon gave him the songs. They were a perfect duo but after all, everyone called them their stage names Hoshi and Woozi instead, even the teachers. But then again Taehyun and his friend Soobin were always the best vocalists. Moreover, Giselle had her own group with Jimin, Minjeong, and Yihuo better known as Karina, Winter, and Ningning. After all they had their own group and were famous around the globe for aespa of course.
But enough of the introductions even if they were famous they were friends with you and you rose up the ladder after each stunt you did.

At some point of the conversation, Giselle asked you about your project so of course you told them about the boy so of course Taehyun knew the guy and realized that it was Sim Jaeyun which is also known as Jake the boy from Australia came to America to come to this school, after all we were all mostly Asian in this school but we all spoke English it was rare to have someone speak English as their 1st language here.
So of course you fell down that rabbit hole and found out more about him through mutuals. Soon enough you saw the boy studying again in the classroom again so you went up to him.
“hey, what are you studying for now?”
“oh it’s you again, it’s just English” he replied after looking at you for a moment before turning back to his book again
“Wow, no hello?” You say to try to ease the tension you felt inside of you.
“You don’t need one, you just come in and out whenever you want”
You were interested in why the boy replied to you like that and you let a smile tug your lips for a moment before sitting down comfortably again like last time and said
“You’re a bold one I’ll tell you that, where are your other friends by the way you’re always studying in here”
“I just prefer studying in a quiet atmosphere, happy?” he replied not looking up now
“Yeah, just asking no need to be so stiff when I’m here” you say to see what he’ll say “I’m not being stiff, just leave so I can actually study”
“Sure, if you wish but I’m not sure how you’re studying English but okay you’re not getting rid of me soon” you express as you start walking backwards on your way out and wink before leaving again for your next class of the day excited for the project your working on.
