If I remember correctly it was the middle of the summer. We went to an all-girls highschool. I was in grade IX, you were in X.
I have liked Shubman Gill from 2020. Back then he was the only one I loved. There was a demo quiz in our quiz club. One of your friend was there. She said something wrong about Shubman and I was really angry that I kinda yelled at her.
- you know nothing about Shubman, I said.
I was so furious for no reason and my friend stopped me from causing anymore chaos.
Some days later, I went to your class to hand over some sheets your classteacher gave me. And that friend of yours was standing near the teacher's chair. She was actually a nice girl. She called me and said,
- see, that girl is also Shubman Gill's fan.
She pointed at you.
That's when I first noticed you. At first it wasn't anything. You were seating in back row. And, looked like a good girl maybe?
I just though that there are so many people who likes Shubman Gill. But that's all.
Soon I came to know that you are the 2nd position holder of your grade. That's the first time I kinda related to you.
I have always been the topper of my class. From childhood. My school changed, but my position did not. But I was never a nerdy topper girl. Maybe I was one of the most dirty minded girls. And I was a backbebcher, just like you. I hated sitting in the front cuz I didn't want to catch the teacher's attention.
I thought,
- wow, she is just like me. She's so brilliant but still a backbebcher and even have a crush on Shubman. We are the same.
From then I started noticing you. Your bench was beside the door. So whenever I walked by your class, I saw you and.....i noticed you.
