“Thank you for that. All of you... Now let’s get to Cursa,” Edge said with gusto. But before everyone could get in the golden Rabbid cannon, the ground began to shake below them. The Comet Observatory began to admit bright flashes of light in the distance.
“’Ey is it supposed to be glowing that bright, or is that just me?” Rabbid Mario pipes up.
“I don’t think so Rabbid Mario... JEANIE, any ideas?” Beep-0 says with a very concerned look on his face.
“I... the energy levels coming from The Comet Observatory are off the charts, Cursa must be planning something big!” JEANIE concludes. The ground then begins to break apart from the sheer force emanating from The Comet Observatory, causing the remains of Cursas shield being used as platforms to fall.
“Quick! Everyone on the WM-ARC NOW!” Beep-0 cries. Panic consumes the heroes as they rush back to their ship. JEANIE teleports back into it and begins to get the ship and thrusters started up. Everyone is scrambling on the now collapsing pieces of debris, and while Mario and the gang are doing alright platforming across the gaps, the Rabbids and Beep-0 are falling behind. Rabbid Luigi unfortunately goes for a big jump and is barely able to grab onto the platform he wished to jump on. The platform he has grabbed onto begins to lose gravity and is falling into the void below.
“Guys, I could use a hand!” He cries out, hoping someone else would hear him. Beep-0 then hovers over to his aid and tries to hover him up onto the sinking platform.
“C’mon Rabbid Luigi, we can do it!” Beep-0 says with strain; he has never had to hover anyone long before. Rabbid Luigi eventually recovers but is now drastically behind everybody else.
While this is happening, all of the Mario Universe characters have made it onto the WM-ARC and are awaiting JEANIE to begin the launch sequence.
“All the Darkmess Energy in the air is affecting the WM-ARCs systems! The ship is having problems engaging the thrusters!” JEANIE explained.
While JEANIE struggles with the thrusters, all the Mario Universe characters realize their Rabbid counterparts are struggling, along with Beep-0. One by one, the platforms the Rabbids were using vanish before their eyes and they have nowhere else to go except for the void below.
“BEEP-0, EVERYONE, HURRY!” There is genuine panic in JEANIES voice as she copes with the situation before her.
Rabbid Peach is about to make it back to the ship, but she doesn’t have anywhere else to jump and the platform she is standing on crumbles to all-most nothingness. It gives out soon after, causing her to fall to the void with a, “Aaauuugh!”
“Rabbid Peach!” Beep-0 cries, but it falls on deaf ears as soon; every one of the Rabbids is falling to the void.
Rabbid Mario, Rabbid Rosalina, Edge, and now Rabbid Luigi holding onto Beep-0, whose strength gives out, fall.
“NOO!” Jeanie shouts, and at that very moment the WM-ARCs thruster come online. JEANIE begins to take off and is about to swoop around to catch the Rabbids, but something is happening to the Comet Observatory.
While our heroes were running, The Comet Observatory has been building up more and more Darkmess Energy. Then, in a flash of Megabug code, emits a blinding purple light engulfing everything in sight...

“AAaeeeeeeyyy!!” Comes Rabbid Marios shouts has he plunged from the heavens. He then lands on snowy ground with a loud THUD, causing snow to kick up everywhere. He then looks up to see Rabbid Luigi also drop from the sky with an equally loud cry... directly on him.
Rabbid Luigis landing on top of Rabbid Mario kicks up more snow in the air.
“Hey, thanks for breaking my fall!” Rabbid Luigi blissfully replies.
“Ough... all in a day’s work bro,” He returns, screaming in pain.
“Aaaahhhh!” Rabbid Luigi hears that and gets up off of Rabbid Mario and looks to his side upwards to see Rabbid Peach smash into the snow.
“You ok, Rabbid Peach?” Rabbid Luigi innocently asks.
She gets to her feet and says, “Yeah, I’m like... fine or whatever. I just hope the snow doesn’t ruin my dress.”
The moment is interrupted by Rabbid Rosalina silently crashing into the surface, followed by Beep-0 hovering down.
“Hey, you’re not dead or whatever, right?” Rabbid Peach asks Rabbid Rosalina. The latter simply replies with a thumbs up while still having her face in the snow. “Cool,” Is all Rabbid Peach says, who then immediately pulls out her phone.
“I-I... what just happened?” Is all Beep-0 can think of asking.
“Yeah, I thought we were about to punch Cursa into next week.” Rabbid Mario speaks, “I was totally going to amaze you all with my biceps.”
“Right... I’m sure you were Rabbid Mario,” Beep-0 answered with a VERY unamused look. Though, after looking around for a second, Beep-0 realizes someone else is missing. “Hey, as anyone seen Edge?”
“Over here,” A voice in the distance calls. It’s Edge coming out from the ruins of a building.
“Hey Edge,” Rabbid Luigi responded with a wave, “How’d you end up over there?”
“Dunno,” Edge answers, “I just got dumped out over on the other side of that thing,” She points to the building, “And I heard you all, so I walked through it. Anyone know where we are?”
“Yeah, I got zero bars over here!” Rabbid Peach complains while waving her phone in the air, trying to get service.
Beep-0 then looks up into the sky and sees two moons in the sky. “I... don’t know, Edge.”
