Chapter Text
A peaceful day on Jabberwock Island, everyone seems to enjoy their free time. Despite having to think about their futures and college, they will enjoy it while they can. The Monokubs still are in control and Monokuma is still salty as the ocean water. Though, it won't be long until he gets bored and starts trouble. How long will everyone last?
Emoshima Junko... The Super High School Level Gyaru. Bored out of her mind, and her hotel room didn't help.
"Can't this day not get any less boring? Nothing despairfully interesting has happened... If it did I would've gotten bored." Enoshima sighs in dissatisfaction and disappointment, toying with one of her strawberry blonde pigtails with a bored expression. This wasn't usually like her, of course, she would like to imagine the world beneath her foot with the words "Despair" written on the sole of her shoe and happily just stomp on the globe as it slows cracks and breaks from the despair it went through. People suffering being tortured, dying, all of the above. But today or ever since she's been here, she's been bored with everything, that fact that she's even interacting with her classmates and little moments actually make her pause to think about how hopeful they are just... bleh.
She just decided to come to the beach, she had her normal clothes on, black cardigan over a white dress shirt, red pleated miniskirt, mid-sized black boots with platform heels and red laces, her tie, and her signature twin Monokuma hair clips. You get it, no need for major detail. Either way, not like she was coming to swim.
As she stalked over, she noticed a familiar figure just sitting there on the lounge chair, the umbrella obscuring the sun from him and reading a novel. Legs crossed, stoic expression, very immersed in that novel. It was none other than Togami Byakuya. Emoshima was bored, sooo... why not go bother him and tease him, she grins as if she were ready to blackmail him.
"So lonely are you?" She started off, crossing her arms and a smug smirk crossed her lips, which only grew when she noticed Togami's frown deepen due to his peace with his book and himself interrupted by an obnoxious voice. "Was your intelligence insulted and you had to consult yourself in a book?" Emoshima used a baby tone with him while acting in her other persona, cartoonish, big large eyes, batting her eyelashes to annoy him.
Togami sighs in annoyance, some strands of his blond hair falling in his face, not even bothering to look up, unfortunately knowing who it is. He doesn't give in or answer her foolish teasing. Emoshima sighs, disappointed he didn't at least play into her teasing but continues on. "Orrr, you're running from Fukawa, hmm? You know, she was rushing out of her hotel room and happened to bump into me. I just told her I'll let her know when I see you, now look at you."
"Is that all? I didn't come here to listen to your pointless remarks nor do I feel like hearing you attempt to blackmail me by giving my spot up to deal with a nut case. Why exactly did you come here?" Togami calmly used one finger to push his glasses, despite the "calm" demeanor, he had a tinge of annoyance in his tone. His gaze was still on the novel.
"Geez, you're real fun at parties, huh? Just a bit of teasing. There are other places to get peace and quiet, like the forest, your hotel room." Emoshima winks, her smug demeanor shifted back to neutral due to her already being bored.
"Tch, I don't need to go just because you said so, neither did I expect for my peace to be unfortunately interrupted by you, if you're so bored, go mingle in pointless small talk with the other primates." Togami said, already shooing her off, dismissing the idea for any more of this small talk they were having, which has gone on for way too long according to him.
"You know what, I will walk off, just don't miss me when you need someone to talk to. I might as well go try one of those new drinks they were making." Enoshima glanced to the side at some random spot, pondering her plans, knowing exactly what she wants, because there's nothing more annoying than an unorganized side quest. She walks off, mumbling how Togami is a spoil sport.
"Good riddance." Togmai rolled his eyes before glancing back at the page of his book.
