It seemed like a quiet and calm day for Fang, since there didn't seem to be any missions or emergencies he or the others had to get to. Still, that didn't stop him from making sure everything was fine especially in the spaceship.
Then, there was that loud knocking coming from the spaceship's door. It sounded so familiar to him that he didn't even seem surprised. He got up from his seat and headed over to the entrance.
When he opened the door, he just stared at the figure standing there. Of course, it was Gopal. He seemed like he just ran all the way over here and he was holding something in his hand.
Fang opened his mouth to say something but Gopal hushed him with his other hand, finally catching his breath and looked down at the other.
"Fang! You wanna go with me to an aquarium? I got two tickets, it's perfect!" He asked, a grin on his face. Fang stood there confused, an eyebrow raising.
"Why would I go to an aquarium? I have to stay here and take care of the spaceship. Besides, can't you go with Boboiboy? You're always with him."
Gopal sighed, shaking his head. "He's been busy with helping Tok Aba!"
"Then go another time." He turned his head to the side, folding his arms.
"They'll expire soon!"
Fang sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose, just his luck. However, he wasn't backing down so easily.
"What about Yaya or Ying?" He asked, determined to not go since what was the point? It's an aquarium, what was so interesting about looking at sea animals through a glass container?
"Dey, they're busy with their own things; Yaya said she wants to spend more time with her family so she can't come, Ying has also been spending much more time with her family!"
Gopal seemed really desperate for Fang to go with him, but how was this going to benefit him?
When Fang didn't say anything in response, Gopal tried to think of something to convince him. Then, an idea appeared in his mind. There was a small glow that caught Fang's attention, making him turn his head to look at Gopal again. His eyes widened, as in Gopal's hand was a carrot flavored donut.
He mustn't... He had to resist, even if it was his favorite flavor in the world... But...
He snatched the donut from Gopal's hand and took a bite off it, immediately smiling. He knew he fell for Gopal's trap, but he couldn't resist. He glared at the other who had a cheeky expression on his face. Even he knew that Fang couldn't resist.
The alien-boy swallowed and sighed. "This better be worth it."
"It will! Trust me. I'll even get you more carrot flavored food."
That sounded like heaven to him. He nodded, eating his donut and headed inside to get ready for the trip.

The boys arrived at the aquarium and headed inside, looking around the place. Honestly, it didn't actually seem that bad. The sea animals there were quite interesting to look at and they were given fun facts about each of them.
Fang would be lying if he said it was boring, because this was beyond his expectations. He just expected to see fishes and other common sea animals and move on from there but this wasn't so bad.
As he and Gopal walked towards the next area, something caught Gopal's eye. He stopped and turned around, only to be met by a giant creature staring at him. He couldn't help but scream and jump back in fear, pointing at the glass.
"Why do they have that in here!?"
Fang checked the sign and read its name and information. Apparently, it was a giant moray eel. He looked back at it and just stared at it.
He couldn't help but snicker, thinking that it didn't even look that scary. Gopal was just being dramatic, he thought.
He turned back to him, smirking. "You're scared of this thing? It's not even scary. Look-"
As Fang pointed his finger and turned his head to look at it again, it was staring directly at him now. Fang screamed and lost his balance, falling onto the ground. The taller boy looked down at him and started laughing at him.
"It's not even scary!" He mocked, continuing to laugh at him. The shorter one hissed, clenching his fists and stood up.
"Whatever, I think we're done here. Let's go."
Gopal pouted but didn't say anything surprisingly, following Fang out of the aquarium.
Other than the people chattering in the back and the sounds of the animals, the duo's walk was quiet, silent. It was really rare for the two of them to be quiet if they were paired together because it would end with them bickering or arguing over something.
"This was nice, really nice." The raven haired boy whispered, his hands in his pockets, not wanting to look at the other. The dark-brunet glanced down at him, grinning.
"See? It was worth it."
Fang rolled his eyes, but it didn't seem like he was annoyed. He stopped walking and gazed at the glass with the fishes, smiling.
Gopal stopped as well, turning around and looking at him. He blinked, staring at Fang and the way he smiled. He kind of admired how he smiled because it wasn't his usual cocky smile, this was a genuine one. He didn't know why but he really likes seeing that smile of his.
And the fact they were standing in this blue light made it better in a way, it made Fang... prettier? Gopal didn't know, he wasn't really thinking properly.
—
As they headed out, Gopal offered Fang a carrot donut again. He looked at it then at Gopal before nodding, taking it and eating it.
"I'll get you more later." He said, placing his arms behind his head. Fang didn't respond immediately, continuing to eat his donut.
A few minutes had passed, he smiled faintly and his tone was lower than before so Gopal couldn't hear him.
"...Thank you."
