Katsumi wanders the hallways unsure of how to act as she passes the servants in creepy masks. They would obey her orders but they would never say a word to her. The only person here that would talk to her is her husband or at least the person wearing her husbands face.
He acts the same towards her for the most part. The same caring and sweet boy she had grown up with that showered her with love and attention all their life. Everything changed on their hiking trip. It was his idea to go on a hiking trip for their honey moon. Somehow they both got stuck in this creep mansion with all of these ghosts. Ever since they woke up here Izuku has been a but different.
It is not a monumental change from before but he behaves more domineering than before. He also acts as the master of the mansion. The servant ghosts treat him as such too. Izuku also now has a more scarier side to him. Which is not only new but he seems to be trying to repress around her.
She worries sometimes that he had gotten replaced when they had first fallen asleep here. He was just as scared as her before she had fallen asleep but when she woke up, he was already awake and different. They have been here for months but Izuku does not seem worried at all about getting out. In fact he discourages her from trying to leave.
The walls of this place are too high he stats. The guards at the gate won’t open them- if they can even be open in the first place. There is no underground system to exploit. They will discover if we try to make one. Every escape route she discusses with him is met with some kind of reason as to why they couldn’t leave.
Katsumi took a deep breath before heading into his office. She loves him to much to leave him behind. The sight of him looking over papers that are filled with symbols she does not understand while smoking a cigarette, makes her heart quicken. She is used to this sight by now but a part of her that she does not understand makes her so frightened when he looks like this.
She swallows her nervousness down and goes to put a hand on his shoulder. He looks at her with such love in his eyes that all her nervousness feels ridiculous. He takes her hand giving it a little kiss as he guides her to sit in his lap. She rests her head on his shoulder as he rubs her legs soothingly.
“Katsuki,” he mummers as his mouth kisses her head, “completely incapable of being anything but yourself.”
“Katsumi,” she corrects.
“Katsumi,” he replies. Looking at her smiling so sweetly.
“Who is Katsuki?” she grumbles. In turn he sighs at her answer and shrugs.
“No one more important than you, my love, for he is just a ghost,” he stats giving her a little kiss.
“Fine,” she replies. Izuku has uttered than name before but he always gives the same confusing answer. Anything more she is just stonewalled.
“Tonight,” she says changing the subject. “Lets leave.”
“How,” Izuku asks his expression blank.
“There is a hole in the walls covered by some bushes. If we sneak out through there we could leave!”
“Fuck!” his expression darkens at her words as he moves to get something out of one of the drawers.
“Honey we can finally leave. Why are you so upset?”
He did not answer at first as he pulls out a syringe filled with a glowing liquid. “I am upset because I never want you to leave,” he sticks the syringe in her before she could react.
She grasps at his clothing as Izuku cradles her. Kissing her head softly will muttering apologies. Her mind fades into blackness as she sits on her lovers lap. Soon she will wake up in her bed unable to remember when she fell asleep and with a strong feeling that she should not try to escape this place.
