The chat was going crazy as the number three hero was cooking on TikTok live, just talking about life and hero work.. and of course you. His amazing partner. He was making some stir fry since it was easy. He enjoyed interacting with his fans through live streaming, even if he didn’t get to do it very often because of him constantly being busy. Usually he would spend his downtime with you but since you weren’t home yet he figured he would livestream for a little bit.
Questions kept rolling in like “How did you get into the top three?” “What’s it like being a hero?” “Is hero work scary?” Hawks was having fun answering the questions (not sharing too much info on you since he valued your safety and privacy). He laughed when a fan commented “Since when is Hawks a tiktoker????”
“Yeah well a hero has to have a side gig!” The blond teased. His smile turning into a full-blown grin when he saw a familiar username in the chat.
You were currently riding the subway home from grocery shopping, when you got on TikTok to pass the time and saw your husband was live, you couldn’t resist clicking on his profile to see what he was up to.
You wrote “what’s cooking good lookin?” In a joking way, hoping to get a laugh out of him.
The hero chuckled with a slight tint of pink staining his cheeks. You were ridiculous, and he loved every second of it.
More questions and comments kept flooding in, but hawks was paying extra close attention to your comments. Smiling at each and every one. He loved you and it showed.
After going back and forth with him for a bit, you shared the live to your good friend Mirko. Hawks had introduced you to her when you first started dating him, and gosh you and Mirko immediately became great friends. And you knew that she and him were close as well.. meaning if there was an opportunity to annoy him, she would take it. Low and behold she joined.
Hawks was in the middle of answering a question when he saw Mirko’s username on screen “ooooooh bird boy's blushinggggggggg!!!”
“MIRKO!? GET THE HELL OUT OF MY COMMENT SECTION! GO DO SOMETHING ELSE!” The hero ordered, a bit embarrassed that his friend saw him like this. it was one thing for strangers to see him laughing and (slightly) blushing. BUT HE DREW THE LINE AT HIS COWORKERS SEEING! He knew that Mirko would tease him for any and everything he did. This was no exception.
Mirko kept spam commenting “boo” and tomato emojis. You were LOVING this. It was funny seeing Hawks’ face go from smiling to being annoyed with his friend.
“…You know what? I’ve got something for your annoying self. Do it again. Do it again and I’m gonna pull up your profile. Let the people see what you look like when you’re not on hero missions. NEWS FLASH Mirko’s eyelashes aren’t real.”
You were desperately trying not to laugh out loud on the quiet subway, but you managed to keep silent. You knew he was just joking around and didn’t mean anything bad towards the Rabbit Hero.
Mirko left the live with one final comment “BYEEEEE I’ve got work to do. Don’t burn the stir fry.”
After the hero read what she had written he practically jumped away from his phone and ran towards the stove. He completely forgot he was cooking, so distracted by yours and Mirko’s comments. You could hear him yell “CRAP” as he stirred the contents of the pan praying nothing burned.

Safe to say you would be ordering takeout tonight.
