“Il Dottore has been found guilty.” Time for punishment!
Dottre stood awkwardly in the middle of the stage, facing down the black and white bear. Punishment? What kind of punishment would even be carried out? This unknown… Once he got out of here he would make sure to experiment on that bear. The perpetual grin was maddening. The Traveller stood beside several others, Arlecchino and Sandrone, watching the scene unfold.
“Ultimate Doctor’s Punishment! Bloom Boom Garden of Doom!” the black and white bear cackled, banging the gavel on the shiny red button.
A familiar bed, the surgery table, rose behind him, and ropes shot out, chaining him to the bed. He tried to struggle, but it didn’t work. Several more beds rose, and somehow his segments were there too. He did a mental tally. That’s one segment less than his total amount.
A creaking and loud banging came from the center of the now vacated stage, revealing a comedically large syringe, pulsing with green liquid. And oh- there’s the last segment. That segment in the syringe had become terribly bloated, with all sorts of flora growing from the body from what Dottore could see. He could hear the flying white annoyance next to the Traveller gasp loudly.
Glass walls shot up, barricading the audience from all the Dottores.
“Traveller, are you sure this is a good idea?” Jahoda muttered next to the Traveller.
“Trust me, when I went to that place and met Monokuma? It’s gonna get very dirty. But frankly I think it’s deserved,” the Traveller whispered back.
“Geez, that contraption is a mechanical wonder,” Sandrone muttered, already taking down notes. Dottore had always been an actual pain in the flesh, causing all those inhumane experiments on those he could catch. Even Columbina’s singing was heavenly compared to Dottore.
Alrecchino frowned, pursed her lips. She had a feeling that the punishment would be something that frankly she could barely stomach. Good thing her children weren’t here.
Nefer took a look at the black and white bear, and back at the traveler. To think the traveller would do this, it was… surprising.
For Nahida, Wanderer, Collei… everyone else who had been hurt by Dottore… the Traveller thought to themself. Managing to get an interdimensional portal to get Monokuma? Worth it. While he couldn’t trust the bear, at least the bear would promise to do this execution and leave. Hopefully that was enough…
“Chills, Thrills… Kills! Pupupupupu…” Monokuma laughed, watching the execution begin. When that blonde traveller came through a rip in reality to his office? He was already very very entertained. And killing someone who was actually very super-duper-bad-all-evil-no-good-no-redemption at all? Cherry on the ice cream.
The syringe moved, pricking an open wound on each of the dottores indiscriminately, before tilting into an upward angle, misting the zone with the green liquid. Thanks to the glass walls, everyone outside was unaffected. However on the inside…
“The Dendro energy is so thick in there!” Jahoda exclaimed, looking through her goggles. Sure enough, plants started growing on the surface where the mists touched, moss spread on the glass walls but were quickly removed by a constant application of heat.
The first dottore who got pricked started to turn green, babbling something incoherent before ferns and vines burst through the mouth cutting off dottore’s air. Mushrooms, flowers of various colours bloomed on his skin, the roots digging into the dottore at rapid speed, draining the dottore dry of nutrients quickly.
Lauma hummed lightly, clasping her hands together in a short prayer. It was terrifyingly beautiful, yet beautifully terrible. Just what sort of psycho could’ve planned this? Lauma glanced at the bear, who was sporting a wide grin on the black side. Better not ask, she thought to herself, looking away from the sight.
Dottores around the first one screamed as foliage grew from their body, breaking skin and turning the centre stage into a verdant garden of corpses. Vines spooled around the tables, still writhing as they grew to strangle dottores laying on the other tables.
Just as quickly, the plants started turning black and wilting before their eyes. “Punishment success!” Monokuma giggled, lowering the glass walls. “I’ll take my leave now, toodaloo!” the bear hopped off its seat, and fell into the rip in reality, that closed back up immediately.
Jahoda shivered at the sight, before puking on the floor. The traveller rubbed circles on Jahoda’s back, comforting her stomach.
Wanderer deadpanned at the scene, but inside he was celebrating the death of that abuser. Albedo sat next to him, finally lowering his hand from Durin.
“Simulation ended. Beep.” The area around them blinked, and the Nod Krai gang found themselves back in the Curatorium of Secrets, and the Traveller who had put his hand on the strange gadget that could bring mental simulations into reality.
“So…” the traveller broke the silence.
“Nope.” the gang chorused.
