Chapter Text
Purple was assigned to do some tasks in electrical, fixing the wires and such, passing by Red who's a bit rude but otherwise a smart crewmate as Purple had quickly figured out during the Emergency Meetings.
Going up the way to the Cafeteria, Purple's neck got twisted, resulting in his body being reported, honestly he didn't even mind too much until listening to their Emergency discussion.
"Mann... They got my boy, Purple." Red complained, looking down at his nails as if they're the most interesting thing in the world, leaning on the Cafeteria's table like a wet puppy.
The other crewmates talked about their tasks, Cyan cleared Black for doing scan and vise versa, overall Purple wasn't really listening, his ghostly form hoovered over Red's body, inspecting the shiver that went down his spine at which Red seemed to perk up a little and continue to bring himself into into the Meeting, stating his position.
The round went on like this, Red seeming quite deflated and rather unmotivated yet eager to win and Purple sticking close with Red or Cyan since he tried to figure out himself who the Imposters were.
Eventually the Round ended, concluding in Cyan, Black and Orange winning.
Upon being brought back to life and to the spaceship, Purple congratulated everyone on the Round.
"Stick to me next Round, then you won't be out this early." Red spoke softly, he had a deep yet smooth voice, Purple nodded, smiling happily, "Sure, thanks."
It would be so ridiculous if we got Imposter now... Purple thought to himself and the Round started, getting selected as Crewmate, more specifically as Engineer.
Like promised, Purple followed Red around, it was a little hard to keep up since Red seemed quite keen on not doing any tasks at all, not even watching Purple do his scan when he requested it.
Still, Purple was quite happy to follow Red around, the guy had correctly assumed his gender which is absolutely affirming and nice and honestly Purple's Standards are definitely lower than hell itself.
Red lead Purple down to the Engines, Grey passed by them and Red just stabbed them, catching Purple absolutely off guard because how did he jinx that.
Unfortunately Blue passed by and reported the body with Purple standing over it, Red had already gotten out of sight.
"The body was in the lower engine, Red and Purple were there as well." Blue stated, calmly and smoothly, a tint of accusation in his tone.
"Red is safe, he was with me the entire time and watched me do Reactor." Purple defended, because what else was he supposed to do? The situation is crazy, not to mention he's definitely creating a target on his back. But rather him than Red.
"Yeah, Purple is safe too. In fact it was a self-report of Blue, we saw you." How can Red lie so cleanly? Purple was dying of nervousness and anxiety.
Cyan chimmed in, he was probably one of the smarter crewmates that Purple ever witnessed, "Okay, so Purple, Blue and Red were last with Grey, not to mention Orange is dead too." he said, glancing from Red to Blue to Purple, then his gaze took in everyone at the table.
"Mhm, seems like it. Can someone watch me do scan?" White, one of the few girls, confirmed Cyan's observation. Black was quick to agree to watching White's scan since he had scan himself.
After a few bits of back and forth, Blue got voted out, possibly the worst outcome obviously since Purple's lie was now confirmed and he was already a suspect.
Red and Purple definitely thought alike, keeping a low profile and Purple did some tasks with Red and a few others around just to clear himself and technically Red too.
