Chapter Text
Phuwin woke up still tired of the jet lag. But since it was his first day at the new university, he couldn't make any excuses. And honestly? It was nothing new for him.
Phuwin's dad worked in the army so it had become common for their family to move from one city to another every 3 or 5 years after a change in posting.
At first he complained and threw fits; why did they have to leave people who are dear to him? He was an introvert child and it wasn't easy for him to make friends. By the time he managed to make some, they would already moving away to another city.
After a while he got used to it and accepted it as his fate. It was fate that he was meant to leave everyone dear to him, and to escape this, he stopped making friends, isolating himself, with multiple hobbies to fill the void in his heart.
At first it wasn't as easy as he'd hoped. Whenever he would see people playing together, he wanted to join them, whenever he heard people talking about the same movies that he loved, he wanted to join the discussions but he stopped himself. He controlled these desires to an extent that he forgot how it felt to feel.
Now that he was starting out in a new city, and a new semester, his motto stayed the same: "Eat, study and mind your own business".
....
On the other side of the coin, Pond's world was full of buzz: His two best friends, Dunk and Joong (who happened to be in a relationship) had always been by his side. You could call them diaper friends.
As an extrovert and blessed with a handsome face, his confidence was always on Mount Everest, but the problem was, he grew up being obsessed with spiderman and his love life. Pond always wanted that kind of love. He wanted the Gwen-to-his-Peter kind of spark with his partner but unfortunately he never felt that with anyone.
His obsession with anime and spiderman was a source of boredom to others and after a few incidents of people using him to gain fame he stopped giving attention to others.
A new semester was nothing out of the ordinary for Pond. He woke up and saw a message from Dunk, asking him to join him for breakfast and trip to college on the very first day. Pond hated thirdwheeling but his love for JoongDunk outweighed his hate for thirdwheeling. Plus, how could he ever say no to free food that Dunk promised him?
