Work Text:
They’re in their usual classroom, sitting around the tables. Todd had just gotten back from jumping onto their classmate's back and disappearing into thin air and then reappearing like five seconds later.
Curtis, Jenny and Hannah immediately asked Todd what had happened.
So they went to their regular classroom and he told them.
“The future?” Jenny asked.
Curtis turned to Jenny. “With all the unbelievable stuff that happens at this school, that’s where you draw the line?”
“No, I’m just clarifying.” Jenny folds her arms across her chest.
“Like, the actual future?” Curtis asked Todd.
Todd turned to Curtis. “Yeah, man.”
“I have so many questions.” Hannah asked, the look in her face saying her mind was going a mile a minute.
Or rather a kilometre a minute.
Todd groaned. “Please don’t ask me any science questions.”
“Like you could answer them.” Jenny commented.
“I couldn’t.” Todd told her.
“So, what happened?” Jenny asked Todd.
“I was in the future.” Todd said.
Jenny rolled her eyes. “We’ve established that.”
“Okay. So.“ Todd readied himself to explain the situation. Curtis, Jenny and Hannah listened intently. “I was in the future. Like, fifteen years. And you guys were there. But Hannah was evil and working with Atticus. And Jenny had an eye patch.” Todd looked at Curtis. “And corn chips did you in, man.”
Curtis looked dejected.
“I was evil?” Hannah asked, shocked.
“You had a piece of Sand Dragon lodged in your skull.” Todd explained.
“Oh.” Hannah said, her tone indicating she was wondering how that could happen.
“How did I get an eyepatch?” Jenny asked.
“No idea.” Todd told her. He looked around at Curtis, Jenny and Hannah. “But, you were the leader of a gang of rebels” He told Jenny. “It was hot. And you and Hannah fought each other. But we basically won. But it was dark, you guys.” Todd said sombrely. He turned to Curtis. “Oh and Curtis, you told me you loved me and I asked if it was Like A Friend and Future You said ‘That Too’.” Todd looked around at Curtis, Jenny and Hannah. “And you guys had a threeway without me!” He exclaimed, his tone indicating he was annoyed he had been left out and missed out on a threeway.
“We had a what?” Jenny half screeched.
“Cool.” Curtis’ eyes lit up.
“I’ve always wanted to have a threeway.” Hannah said off handedly.
“I know! Without me!” Todd exclaimed.
“To be fair, you were missing.” Curtis told his best friend.
Todd nodded. “Yeah.” He still sounded dejected. “Still.”
“I can’t believe you guys are the first people I have a threeway with.” Jenny commented.
“Was it good?” Curtis asked Todd.
“I don’t know. Hannah didn’t elaborate.” Todd told him.
“Oh.” Curtis said.
While the information that three of their group had a threeway, Todd’s eyes lit up. “So…” Todd stared, looking like he was clearly up to something.
“We’re not having a three - fourway, Todd.” Jenny said.
“We’re not having a fourway… Yet.” Curtis said.
Jenny rolled her eyes. She turned around and started walking towards the classroom door.
Todd, Curtis and Hannah followed her.
