"Come on Riku just do it!!! It's literally not that hard." Sakuya encouraged with a wide grin on his face. Like he knew the things Riku was going through at the moment.
"It IS hard, Saku! You don't get it..." Riku groaned and flopped on his back on Sakuyas bed. Ryo was busy playing on the Nintendo switch.
"It literally isn't. You just have to say 'hey, I like you!' And that's it!" Sakuya said wayyyyy too enthusiastically. Riku groaned again. Throwing an arm over his eyes. This was insane... Tomorrow was another day of school, and Riku literally promised Ryo and Sakuya that he'd confess. Well, he really had no choice now..
"Okay...so what? I just go up to him and be like, I like you?" Riku asked as he sat up. Ryo nodded whilst not even tearing his eyes off the Nintendo. Sakuya grinned widely and nodded as well.
"EXACTLY! I'M SO EXCITED—" Sakuya yelled and Ryo threw himself at Sakuya before he could finish his words. Both boys fighting on the floor like puppies. Meanwhile Riku was stressing about the confession.

Riku was a nervous wreck. He was sweating buckets and his friends weren't helping AT ALL. Sakuya kept 'guiding' him and Ryo just kept repeating Sakuyas words. It was basically a never ending back and forth thing. Thankfully, class started and Riku could escape their parrot behavior.
Riku walked into class as usual, and there he was. Oh Sion at all his glory. Bright, handsome face. Bright pearly smile. Pretty eyes paired with his long eyelashes. Charming voice. Charming smile. Charming face. Charming—
"You're drooling." Yushis voice came out of nowhere. Riku almost jumped out of his shoes.
"Yuu-chan! Don't scare me like that." Riku smacked Yushis arm. Yushi seemed nonchalant. Casually leaning against the wall next to Riku. He was not surprised by Rikus dazed look anyway. It was something he'd see everyday. Matter of fact, every second. "...Sion hyung looks busy.." Riku murmured. Staring at the male who was laughing with his friends. Yushi raised an eyebrow and looked at Sion.
"...when is he not?" Yushi mumbled. Riku blinked and looked at Yushi. Yushi just shrugged without looking at Riku. Riku puffed his cheeks and threaded his arm with Yushis.
"..right.." Riku mumbled as he scooted closer to Yushi. The other boy didn't seem to mind that either. It was normal for Yuriku.
Eventually they had to part when class began. Returning to their seats. Yushi far off to the window side like the 'nonchalant mysterious' guy he is. Riku seated behind him and Sion next to Yushis seat. Riku accidentally made eye contact with Sion and turned away so fast, he might be given himself a whiplash.
As class proceeded Riku was still recovering from that brief SECOND of eye contact. His heart racing in his chest, his body too warm and his eyes stuck to his desk.
Rikus mind swirled with a million thoughts.
"How will I confess?.."
"If he rejects me what will I ever do..."
"I'm gonna die"
"Hes so handsome.."
"I think my breathing just stopped"
"Am I dying?"
"Woah."
"Beep Boop Bap bop"
"Fuck, how do I confess.."
"Meow"
"Ugh, this is so embarrassing."
"Sion hyung...i like you! No.. Thats too cringe."
"Hamham."
"when will this end?"
Riku was lost in his thoughts, he didn't even realize his gaze naturally gravitated to Sion again. Now they had made eye contact for at least 6 seconds.. Or maybe 7 seconds? Riku didn't know and he didn't care. (He did.) Riku snapped his head away so fast he could hear his joints crack. (Damn unc, must be tough.)
Rikus heart was racing yet again. He could swear he felt it in his throat at this point. Oh shit, am I gonna throw up? Riku thought to himself again. He not his lips raw nervously as he slowly turned his gaze back to the front, and fuck, Sion was still staring.
Riku had to pretend to not notice Sions intense gaze on him.

Riku prayed in his mind, and thankfully, Sion did look away. Riku let out a breath he didn't even know he was holding and slumped on his desk. He couldn't believe he got caught staring at Sion and Sion just continue to stare at him. This was definitely gonna be difficult...
As class came to an end and everyone was dismissed for their recess time, Riku shot out of his chair so fast you would miss it if you blinked. Riku quickly grabbed Yushi and fled the classroom.
Poor Yushi didn't even get time to protest. Not like he would anyway. Riku dragged Yushi alllllllll they way to the other side of the hallway. Yushi looked unamused.
"Yuu-chan, you won't believe what happened" Riku whispered like he was spilling top secret information. Yushi didn't get time to respond of course. "Sion and I made eye contact for more than 3 seconds.." Riku said and there was a pause before he suddenly squealed and began wiggling Yushi back and forth.
"Wowwww, really? Thats sooo interesting, should I spread it around?" Yushi teased and pinched Rikus side. Riku never jumped away so fast but he was still all giggly and happy.
"Oh, shut up. It's really important!" Riku pouted playfully. Still grinning from ear to ear. Yushi chuckled finding Rikus reaction cute but he quickly masked it and pretended to be nonchalant again.
"Yeah. Big news" Yushi shrugged. Riku rolled his eyes and began ranting more about Sion.
Soon, the dreadful time came. The end of school arrived and Riku hurriedly placed a note on Sions desk. Ryo, Sakuya and Yushi collectively cringed at that and Jaehee just so happened to pass by. He cringed too.
Riku rushed out all giggly. All four of them placed a smile on their face.
"How'd it go?" Ryo asked.
"You did great!..." Jaehee said with a thumbs up.
"..what was that?.." Sakuya dead panned.
"..." Yushi said.
Riku realized that there wasn't 3 heads, there were four! Excluding his. Wait— since when was Jaehee here?? Whatever, doesnt matter. Riku thought and quickly looked down the hallway where he saw Sion approaching from. All five boys hid behind the nearby wall and watched as Sion entered and went to his desk to collect his things. Sion picked up the note and everyone held their breath.
Sion read the note with a normal expression.
'Hello,pleaze meet me at the front gates. ₍^. .^₎⟆'
Sion recognized the handwriting easily,and the cute spelling mistake as well. A smile crept to his lips. "Riku?" Sion huffed a soft laugh.
The four boys all looked at Riku. Riku smiled sheepishly and whispered. "..my handwriting is bad.." Riku mumbled. The four boys simply agreed and went back to watching. Sion pocketed the note and slung his bag over his shoulder before exiting. The four boys all hurried to push Riku forward and send him to the meeting spot.
Riku nervously went to the meeting spot. Praying that Sion actually waited, and he did. Sion was standing there perfect as always. His hair flowing gently with the wind, the golden light of the sun setting hit his skin perfectly. Rikus breath caught in his throat as Sion smiled and waved him over. His body moved on autopilot.
"Hey, Riku. You wanted to see me?" Sion smiled gently. His cute little eye crinkles and just...Sion being Sion made Riku lose his breath.
"Y-yea.." Riku said breathlessly and Sion seemed to notice. He chuckled softly and tilted his head at the younger male.
"So what's up?" Sion asked with a small smirk. Rikus heart pounded against his chest, his eyes trained on the ground as he spoke. Riku felt like his body suddenly froze up but he had to be brave. He had to take this shot.
"...i...like you.." Riku said quietly under his breath. Yushi, Ryo, Sakuya and Jaehee all collectively held their breaths behind the nearby tree, but Sions dumbass didn't seem to hear him properly.
"Hm?" Sion asked again. Leaning a bit closer. Riku panicked as looked everywhere but at Sion.
"I said I like gummies! You do too right? Ahaha..." Riku blurted out in the midst of his panic. There was a long awkward silence with only the sounds of the wind blowing. The four boys collectively slumped and cursed Riku meanwhile Sion burst into quiet laughter.
"Gummies? Of course I like gummies. Why? Planning to gift me?" Sion teased. Wiggling his eyebrows. Jaehee seemed devastated that the confession back fired. Sakuya was busy trying to hold back his laugh. Yushi seemed irritated along with Ryo.
"..is he really that dumb?" Yushi mumbled, causing Jaehee to elbow him lightly. The four boys watched as Sion wrapped an arm around Rikus shoulder and the two walked off whilst laughing and talking. Honestly, it was probably only Sion. The four sighed and stumbled out of their hiding spot.
"Mission no.1 failure..." Sakuya sighed and watched the two boys leave with his hands on his hips.

A few weeks past since that God awful failure of a confession. This time, the four boys put all their brains together to help Riku confess.
MISSION ONRI

"Alright, so maybe we can try by letters since Riku is too shy"

"He should also prepare some flowers"

"I thought Riku was the girl here"

"Both are boys??"
Yushi:
"Syfm"
"Alright so we all agree on letters right?"
Jaehee:
"Absolutely"
"We should make demos just in case Riku backs out again"
Ryo:

And their plan set on sail!

It was another glorious day of school. Riku was already sweating buckets. The four boys were already prepared for the plan. Once Riku stepped foot into the hallway, Jaehee grabbed Riku and dragged him all the way to the bleachers to explain their plan. Riku was caught off guard and very VERY surprised. Riku saw the other boys already waiting. Paper, colored papers, color pencils, pens, glitters, tape, glue, scissors etc..
"Whats this?" Riku asked after a long pause of silence. The four grinned.
"YOUR GONNA MAKE A CONFESSION LETTER WITH OUR GUIDANCE!" Sakuya declared. Rikus jaw dropped.
"WHAT!? no! I already told y'all I give up on the confession thing!" Riku shook his head. The four boys seemed persistent.
"Well, we didn't" Yushi said and looked at the other three. They all nodded. "..we sort of made a group chat planning on how to get you and Sion together" Yushi revealed and when they looked at Riku again. The boy was teary eyed.
"Aww...you guys did it for me?" Riku sniffled. The four of them shot awkward looks to each other. Than in a flash, Riku had group hugged them all. "YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTE!!! AND KIND, AND SWEET AND—"
"Okay! Okay! We get it!" Ryo cried out. Struggling free. All of them struggled free from Rikus death grip. They all looked at the tearful and emotional Riku. Ryo smiled again. "Riksmiled! Now let's get to work." Ryo smiled.
After taking their times in recess and lunch break to make the PERFECT letter. They finally finished and got the final product.
A purple card with a pop up letter inside. Along with many stickers and plenty of glitter. (Sakuyas doing) Riku was super excited to give the letter as the day came to an end. Riku sucked in a deep breath. Reading over the letter again.
"Dear Sion,
Hey..i know this is weird to say and all but I've liked you for a long time. Like a long long time.. And so you know this isn't some prank, Ill tell you what I like about you! Sion hyung, I like your smile, your eyes, your face, your voice, your kindness, your hard work, your affectionate touches. I like everything about you basically... I don't know if you will reciprocate my feelings but I hope you do.. And if not, please, lets stay as friends. I really can't afford to lose you, hyung.

Riku blinked and cringed at himself. Groaning as Sakuya and Ryo quietly snickered behind him. Yushi patted Rikus shoulder gently. "Cmon" he urged Riku. Riku nodded and quietly went back to class. It was empty by now but Riku saw Sions bag still here. He quietly went to put it in Sions bag but froze. Maybe he should keep it on the desk so Sion sees it... Riku hurriedly placed the letter on the desk and ran back out. Riku didn't realize but due to his hurried movements, he accidentally knocked the paper over and made it fall on the ground.
"Did you place it?" Jaehee asked with excitement. Riku nodded nervously. Ryo and Sakuya high fives and quickly his when they heard the sounds of footsteps and humming. They all his behind that very same wall again. Ryo clasped a hand over Sakuya mouth cause he was breathing too loud. Yushi watched quietly with his sharp focuses gaze. Jaehee was also staring with ultimate focus. Riku was busy trying not to scream.
Sion entered the class whilst humming softly. Riku stared quietly. Lost in Sions soft humming. Riku swallowed dryly as Sion grabbed his bag, then suddenly Yushi nudged him.
"Wheres the letter??" Yushi whispered in panic. Riku looked up and realized the letter was down on the floor. Panic flood him as Sion walked away. Leaving the letter abandoned again. Once Sion left Yushi and Riku sighed at the same time whilst the other three were still oblivious to the fail. They went into class and Riku picked up the letter. All of them fell silent.
"WHAT?" Sakuya yelled. Ryo looked exasperated and baffled as well. Yushi just stared at the letter like it personally offended him and Jaehee looked at the others.
"So...he did not get it.." Jaehee mumbled scratching his head. Not really knowing what to do. Riku sighed softly. Slumping over Sions desk.
"How did that even happen??" Ryo asked. Completely dumbfounded and annoyed that their master plan didn't work.
"I think I accidentally knocked it over..." Riku murmured into his arms. Yushi sighed and pinched his nose bridge. Jaehee gently patted Rikus back.
"Mission #2!.. Fail.." Sakuya sighed.

This was it. Riku was officially REALLY gonna confess.
Rikus day started off fairly well... Except for the part where Ryo quite literally lunged on Sakuya. Anyways. Today was the day he REALLY confesses. No cap. No glue. No borax.
"So, you're actually doing it?" Jaehee asked whilst munching on some snacks. Yushi looked curious too. Riku thought for awhile before taking a deep breath and nodding.
"Yes. For sure!" Riku said with a determined look and nod. Jaehee chuckled probably finding that cute. Yushi smiled too. Meanwhile, the two kids were still on each other.
"Class is gonna start soon." Yushi said after he looked at his watch. Both Jaehee and Riku nodded. Agreeing to return to class now. They quickly snuck away before the two fighting boys could catch them.
Once they were in the class, Jaehee easily settled back at his desk. Eyeing Sion and making shit wayyyyyy to suspicious. Yushi on the other hand couldn't stop snickering and Riku just stared at the chocolate he had. Sion was busy writing some notes or logging in the log book. Riku stared at Sion quietly. Fidgeting with the chocolate as he watched Sion... Woah. Sion was truly..really handsome. He thought to himself.
The day passed by in a blur. Riku was starting to doubt himself more and more because Sion and he had barely interacted this whole day. But he had to take his shot.
"Sion hyung!" Riku called out before he left. Sion turned to Riku. His easy going charming smile on as always. The class was already empty by now.
"Yes, Riku?" Sion smiled and leaned against the wall as Riku walked over.
"I uh.." Riku mumbled. He nervously looked at Sion for no longer than 3 seconds before saying it. "..i..like you hyung!" Riku quickly pulled out the chocolate packet towards Sion. Until he realized... THE STUPID CHOCOLATE MELTED IN HIS FUCKING POCKET. He stood there stiffly. Still half bowing. Sion just stood there too. Staring at how the chocolate packet slowly slumped. "Oh no— the chocolate melted.." Riku sounded like he was 5 seconds away from crying. Sion blinked and finally came back to his senses.
"Wait- wait- Riku you like me?" Sion asked again. Staring back at the younger. Riku nervously nodded. Hands clenching around the melted chocolate bar. Sions smile softened at how upset Riku looked. "..thank you" Sion said softly. Riku looked at Sion in half disbelief.
"...thank you?.." Riku asked. Sion nodded with a smile. "..what..is that a yes or..no.." Riku said no quieter than intended. Sion just chuckled softly. His soft laughter filling the empty classroom warmly. Riku felt his face heat up with embarrassment.
"..Yes. Riku." Sion said after finally calming down from his laughing fit. Rikus stomach did a backflip. He stood there in front of Sion with wide eyes as Sion took the melted chocolate from Riku and smiled at him. Yushi, Jaehee, Ryo and Sakuya who were eaves dropping all gave silent high fives to each other and cheered.
Kiss kiss mwah mwah fall deeper in love and they lived happily ever after. Thank you bye.
