1400, 622 years ago. the bakugo's and the todoroki's were two kingdoms that were friends and had peace with each other...the bakugo's were either humans or dragon hybrids but mostly people with dragon blood was born so there were more of the dragon hybrids then the humans. The todoroki's were also humans.
The todoroki's and bakugo's would defend and protect each other from other kingdom battles and they would work together in wars. That's how strong that friendship was, the kids had perfect friendships with other kids and some of the todoroki's and bakugo's would fall in love even the army and royals were great friends..it was all perfect till one day, one of the todoroki's accused the bakugo's for putting a curse on one of the queens. The bakugo's tried to reason with them but the todoroki's didn't believe them and started a war that went for years..sometimes the todoroki's would kill random innocent people in the bakugo family tree...
The war has continued for years and years and peace was never a option. The bakugo's were slowly dying so they had to run away and hide from the public to be safe...they hid in a forest that they claimed and never went out ever again and they thought they were going to be safe but the todoroki's found them and burned their forest..the todoroki's were sure they got every last bakugou. they were either enslaved or killed them but they missed one of the children that hasn't even hatched yet..the egg floats down the river and was saved by a different dragon species.
Now 1418. Bakugo's were still hunted till every last one was dead.
Our story starts with a young man who was around 16. He dreams about being an amazing paladin like All Might. The paladin who fought evil and darkness and sent the demon king back to where it came from, He was loved by so many people before disappearing once evil was gone. Rumors say that the sword he welded was deep in a forest somewhere. The young man was suddenly jolted out his fantasies when his mother called him down for supper.
The green haired boy put down the history books about the paladin and got up from bed, he got dressed in a white button up, a green vest and brown pants before walking out his room and walks downstairs "hello, dear! Supper is on the table." The older woman says, plating her own food by the stove, the young man sat down and watched his mother sit "I'll be doing some errands today. I hope you won't try your silly adventures while I'm gone." She says with a chuckle "mom! It's not just an silly adventure, All Might's sword is really out there!" He whines "izuku, you have gotten way too far from the village and hurt a couple of times during your adventures! You're worrying me, izuku. Please this once don't go out." The mother pleaded, izuku sighs before nodding "okay, mom...i will." Izuku finally agreed, the two then thanked for the meal and ate supper. "Okay, izuku. I'll be out for a couple of hours. Be good and don't go out." The mother says "I will, mom!" Izuku waves goodbye and once the door shut izuku immediately went upstairs and gathers his satchel, of course he was going on another adventure! He gathered his map, his flimsy stone sword and his journal before heading out.
He walks through the village, heading to the gates before there was a suddenly a crashing sound, Izuku looks over to see two men tormenting a girl who fell on the ground, glass potions rolling around her as her flimsy cart was broken "damned witch! What makes you think you're welcomed?!" One of the men jeered as the other laughed cruelly. Izuku frowns before walking over and stepping in front of the woman "hey! Leave her alone!!" Izuku yells, the men were taken a back. "Tch...whatever, deku." They scoff and kick some dirt before storming off, Izuku sighs before picking up a pink witch hat and gives it to the fallen woman "hey...are you okay?" He asks, the woman looked up at Izuku before nodding "yeah...those guys are just jerks.." She says, taking the hat and putting it back on before Izuku helped her up "why were they even acting like that towards you?" Izuku asks, picking up some of the potions off the ground "it's cause I'm a witch...they think I'm going to-" "YOU'RE A WITCH?!" Izuku cuts her off, eyes lighting up with fascination and amazement "ah! I'm sorry! I just never met a real witch before!" Izuku grins as the woman just giggles and puts all the potions in her bag "thanks, deku!" The woman says with a smile, looking at Izuku who was putting the cart back up "o-oh! Actually my name is Izuku Midoriya...deku is what people call me around here as a insult..." Izuku smiles awkwardly "seriously?! I'm so sorry! I honestly thought the nickname was cute now I feel bad.." She says, frowning "...cute?" Izuku whispers under his breath before turning red "w-well that's okay!! I don't mind you calling me that!!" Izuku quickly says, waving his hands around as the woman stares at him like he was crazy before laughing "uh alright then, deku! By the way, I'm Uraraka!" She smiles and shakes izuku's hand "nice to meet you.." Izuku nervously says
Ochaco then looks at izuku's gear "hm? You going somewhere?" She asks, pulling away her hand "huh? Oh! Yeah! I've kinda been adventuring this past year looking for the sword that was welded by All Might!" Izuku dramatically says "oh! Yeah I heard about that! I thought it was just a myth though?" Ochaco asks, tilting her head "that's what everyone thinks but people have seen it!! And I wanna see it for myself!" Izuku nods determined "hm...well because you saved my butt back there I'll join you! Seems fun!" Ochaco smiles "woah seriously?! Ah thanks so much! I'm not sure how long we'll be though so let's try to get home before nightfall." Izuku says and ochaco nods in understanding before the two walk out the village gates together, walking down a path to any forest. "Sooo...why do you want to find this sword?" Ochaco asks, looking at izuku "well...All Might is my hero. I admired him and looked up to him as a child. When he disappeared I was so sad but finding out his sword is somewhere out there fills me with hope he'll return or someone will be his successor. It says only the purest can weld the sword!" Izuku rambles as ochaco nods along "that's pretty cool..i wonder what happened to him." Ochaco murmurs before they get off the path to enter a random forest, where they'd be watched without them knowing...
They walk through the forest, looking around before stumbling across a hut "huh...looks like someone is camping out here." Izuku mutters under his breath as ochaco looks around "well we shouldn't disturb-" Ochaco was suddenly cut off by leaves rustling. Izuku looks over and sees ochaco gone as the wind makes the trees shake "...uraraka?" Izuku calls out nervously before hearing something land behind him, he tenses up and slowly turns around but before he could see who it was everything went black. Izuku groaned softly as he finally regained consciousness, after who knows how long. Everything was still blurry but he heard fire crackling and his body was aching. When the blur disappears that's when Izuku realizes he was tied to the unconscious ochaco, back to back. wha-..? Huh?! U-uraraka!!" Izuku says, squirming. As ochaco stirs softly "huh..? What..?" She mumbled before someone walks up to the two "finally you're awake." They scowled, the man had spiky ash blonde hair, dark red horns with one of them broken in half, dark red eyes with an absurd amount of jewelry and wore a big fluffy red cape without a shirt. Ochaco pales when she recognized the man while izuku squinted trying to figure out who it was. "So you thought you could steal my dragon then come back for more?" The blonde growls "stole?!" "Dragon?!" The two shriek as they trembled "you're dragon hunters. Don't be stupid." The man says as he sat down in front of the fire "we aren't dragon hunters..! We didn't mean to trespass!" Izuku nervously says, shaking his head frantically "y-yeah! Honest!!" Ochaco says, also shaking her head. The blonde just scoffs and walks to their bags in a messy pile and started looking through them "who is this guy..?" Izuku mutters under his breath with a frown "you don't know him?! He's the most wanted king..! You never seen his wanted posters almost everywhere?!" Ochaco whispers frantically as Izuku awkwardly shakes his head "no..not really." He mutters before the two freeze when the man stood up
He was the last of his kind. Last of the bakugo's. And his only friend was taken from dragon hunters. The man then slowly looks at the two "...you two are clearly not hunters. They would have better supplies. But that doesn't give you a damn right to go around my territory." He growls, the two gulp nervously "we're sorry...y-you uhm mentioned your dragon being taken, right? What if we help you save it since we trespassed!" Izuku says as ochaco looks at him like he was crazy for wanting to help a criminal. The blonde was also surprised before scoffing "don't give me your pity. You damn humans try to help but end up making everything worse!" The man yells and points at Izuku, his red cape blowing fiercely behind him. It made Izuku tense up but he's determined to help anyone in need. "I mean it! Let us help..and we won't bother you again..." Izuku says and the man scoffs, striding over to Izuku and squatting to match his height. They two stare at each other and Izuku doesn't back down from his glare. The man then huffs before getting up and untying the two "try anything funny and I'll kill you both." He says as ochaco swallows hard and gets up with Izuku, they gather their items into their bags before the man leads the two towards a path behind some bushes, Izuku and ochaco cautiously follows behind him until they came across a base, the three his behind a bush "here we are...he's in there." The man says, pointing at the well protected base as uraraka and Izuku follow his finger "I see...so what do we- ah! H-he's gone!" Izuku says as he goes to look at the man but he suddenly vanished into the nature around them "now what..?" Ochaco whispers before they were suddenly caught by two guards, they get throw into the dungeon in the base without mercy. "Ah...you okay, uraraka?" Izuku asks, sitting up. Ochaco nods and sat up "yeah...you?" Ochaco looks at him, Izuku nods in response
suddenly a trap door on the ceiling suddenly opens and the man drops down in the dark room with them "hey! You practically left us for bait!!" Ochaco yells before she got up, Izuku getting up as well. The man ignored her and walked past her, looking at the cages as he looked for his dragon friend before running towards a cage "ei?!" Katsuki calls out as uraraka and Izuku follows him, they expected a big terrifying dragon before seeing a human inside the cage, he had long spiky red hair, red scale patches on parts of his skin, red horns, big red wings and a long red tail and ragged clothes. He looks up at the blonde and gasps "katsuki!" The dragon hybrid got up and walks to the bars "you're alright!" He grins before seeing Izuku and ochaco "who are they?" He asked but the blonde shook his head "don't worry about 'em. Witch blast this cage open!" The blonde yells, pointing at ochaco who jumps before muttering under her breath, she walks towards a cage and opens her spell book to search for a spell and soon she blew the bars away with a blast. The hybrid jumped out, free from the cage.
unfortunately guards heard the explosion and ran over to find the cause "Eijirou! Let's go!" The blonde yells and the dragon hybrid nods before non toxic smoke fills the room and shape shifted into a huge dragon, destroying the ceiling of the base. The guards shot arrows at the dragon but did no damage. The blonde cackled and jumped onto the dragons back "alright let's go!" He says with a wide grin but eijirou refused to fly "...i said let's go!!" He yells "katsuki. Those two helped you save me..and you're just going to leave them?" Eijirou asked, his voice deeper in his red dragon form. Katsuki paused before looking over his shoulder to see ochaco and Izuku try to defend themselves against the guards. "Tch...who cares about them! Let's go!" Katsuki demands and looks back at Kirishima who's practically giving him a puppy eyed look. Katsuki groans before jumping down from his back then pulled out his swords, he rushes towards the guards with a roar and kicks one of them in the head while stabbing another "quick! Onto the dragon!!" Katsuki yells at Izuku and ochaco, they nod before running over to eijirou and getting on his back. He then fights off more guards before running to eijirou and jumping onto his back "go! Go!" He says and eijirou takes off, destroying the rest of the base as he took off into the sky. Izuku and ochaco shriek and hold onto the dragon's back for dear life
It was until they were high above the clouds that they took a breather and calm down, Izuku looks up at katsuki who was letting the wind blows past him as they flew in the air, his hair and cape blowing back as he stares forward "...thank you." Izuku suddenly says and katsuki looks back at him before looking forward "shut up. I only saved you two because my dragon wouldn't take off." He scoffs but Izuku smiles softly as a strange familiarity fills his chest, he's not sure why he feels like this...why he feels like he met this man before. And even stranger is that...he thinks katsuki is having the same strange familiarity as him. After a while eijirou glides down and lands on the ground safely, ochaco got off from the dragon and threw up from air sickness. Izuku cautiously got down and katsuki follows, eijirou shape shifts back into a human once everyone got off him "good to finally stretch my wings!" Kirishima says as he stretches his arms and wings before looking at ochaco and grins wide before suddenly shaking her hand "thanks so much for saving my butt, ma'am!" Eijirou says happily as ochaco was taken a back before nervously laughing "oh it was no problem!!" She says, katsuki and izuku watches before eijirou suddenly runs to isuku and shakes his hand too "and thank you too!" He says with a large grin "y-your welcome! But I didn't do anything!" Izuku nervously says as eijirou looks at katsuki "and look at you! Asking for help!" Eijirou smirks as katsuki scowls "asked? They offered to help! I could've saved you myself!" He yells, poking eijirou's chest before storming off but eijirou grabs him "hang on! They helped us. We gotta repay them!" Eijirou says with a pout as katsuki sighs "fine, do what you want." He shakes his head as eijirou looks back at izuku and ochaco "are you two on an adventure?" He asks, his dragon tail wagging aggressively. Before katsuki could stop him from talking Izuku nods eagerly "Mhm! We're looking for the paladin All Might's sword!" Izuku says excitedly and katsuki pauses at the name of the hero "...you're looking for his sword? Tch. His sword is probably buried in ruins by now!" Katsuki says, waving his hand dismissively "but you admit it's real?" Izuku asks with a grin and katsuki just scoffs in response "woah! No one managed to make you silent before, katsuki!" Eijirou says and katsuki elbows him roughly "fine. We'll join your crappy journey. But do you even know where to start?" Katsuki asks and Izuku awkwardly goes quiet "of course." Katsuki huffs before turning away "we'll bring you to our place. C'mon." He says before walking away and eijirou follows behind him, before izuku could follow ochaco stops him "Deku, are you serious..?! You're letting him join us?! He's wanted!" Ochaco whispers frantically to him and izuku hesitates before speaking "...i trust him. I mean he hasn't killed us or left us to die." Izuku says and ochaco looks at him like he was crazy before sighing in defeat and the two follow the dragons
Izuku and ochaco watch the two pack up their camp and soon they journeyed to a nearby cave. By then it was already dark and eijirou started a campfire in the cave. Eijirou was chatting happily with the new humans but izuku only paid attention to katsuki since the feeling of familiarity towards the king was hard to explain. After katsuki finished settling down in the cave he walked towards the entrance of the cave "I'm going to go look for a meal." He says and izuku immediately gets up "i-i'll come along!" He says, grabbing his sword and walking to katsuki, he scoffs and looks away "fine. Just stay out my way." He says, surprisingly not putting up a fight. Before the two left the cave then soon the two would be searching the forest for food "...you know uh...there is a village nearby, we could go get some food from the market." Izuku says but katsuki grunts in response, making a trap. Which made izuku felt awkward then he looked at katsuki's back, he had a dragon tail like eijirou but no wings? He kept staring at katsuki who immediately noticed and tensed up "I'll pull out your spine if you keep staring." Katsuki says which made izuku jump "s-sorry! I was just curious...what happened to your wings?" Izuku asks, reaching a hand out towards katsuki's cape and in a blink of an eye katsuki was on top of izuku with a knife to his throat, it made izuku turn pale and immediately freeze up "wouldn't you like to know?? Gods I should just kill you right here, huh?! That'll shut you up!" Katsuki yells, the rising moon shining down onto katsuki and the sharp blade, izuku stares up at katsuki without any words but soon a late realization came into izuku's head without thinking he croaks out "kacchan..?" Izuku asks with hesitation and katsuki paused and the two stared at each other.
Years ago...
Young five year old izuku walked down a path he wasn't supposed to take to collect flowers for his mother. A specific breed in a deep part of a forest. And before izuku could reach the flowers he's suddenly tackled to the ground by a scrawny kid, holding a sharp rock to izuku's neck "eh? Your not the one i'm looking for." The blonde six year old said with a pout, izuku was so terrified and speechless, his body just trembled as his mouth was slightly agape. Soon tears fill his eyes and katsuki immediately tenses up, getting off the kid to calm him down "h-hey! Stop crying you idiot! You shouldn't even be around this area!" Katsuki says as izuku cried, fat tears rolling down his chubby freckled cheeks. "I said stop crying! I didn't even scare you that bad!" Katsuki says but he was panicking a little too "you're so mean...!" Izuku cried, wiping his tears with his sleeves "I'm not mean! Your just stupid!" Katsuki yells as izuku sniffles and pouts "I just thought you were someone else so I attacked. I didn't even touch you." Katsuki says, looking away and crossing his arms "...you scratched my shoulder a bit..." Izuku murmurs under his breath but katsuki hears it. He scoffs before getting up then helped Izuku onto his feet "who even are you and why are you here?" Katsuki asks as he raises an eyebrow and Izuku sniffles "h-huh..? Uhm...I'm Izuku Midoriya..." He quietly says, sniffling and wiping his cheeks for any remaining tears "hmph...well you're going to play with me! So you can make up for wasting my time!" Katsuki says all high and mighty before looking down "...besides my guardian is too busy." Katsuki mutters as izuku thinks for a moment before responding "okay...but if I win the game we have to be friends!" Izuku says "pfft! Fine! If I win then you'll be my minion!" Katsuki says as he points at izuku and the two shake on it.
Present day...
Katsuki and izuku stared at each other after katsuki got off him, they were silent for a long time before izuku spoke "it...it really is you..." Izuku murmurs before immediately sitting up "where have you been?! We've been friends for a year then you just disappear!" Izuku says as katsuki looks away "...that ain't any of your business." Katsuki says as he gets up and izuku got up as well "i-...kacchan." Izuku spoke softly as katsuki turns away from him "let's go." Katsuki says and starts walking away, Izuku sighs and follows after him as he hopes he can talk to katsuki about this later. After killing an deer they drag it back to the cave, they walked beside each other in awkward silence before katsuki spoke "you really think the sword is out there?" Katsuki asks, All Might was their hero and their inspiration when the two were kids "yeah...i really think so." Izuku says with a nod and katsuki just hums in response, they soon return to the cave and cook the animal so everyone can have a warm meal in their stomachs. Katsuki bites off the remaining meat of the bone and throws it over his shoulder, eijirou ate the biggest meat off the dear and was still chewing, ochaco and izuku just side eyed them as they ate the meat as well "w-well uhm...thanks for the food. We didn't really pack a lot." Ochaco says with a shrug as izuku nods "oh it's no problem!" Eijirou says, using his sharp teeth to tear into the meat "normally we don't share dinners with others!" He says with a smile "I wonder why." Katsuki says sarcastically as he rolls his eyes "that's not very king like, man." Eijirou teases with a smirk then katsuki kicks him in the side before getting up and going to a corner in the cave and lays down "...guess we should also hit the sack." Izuku sighs and gets up "I'll keep watch, you two go sleep." Eijirou says and the two nod before finding their own spot to sleep on. Eijirou kept watch as he said before passing out into a food coma. As the group slept they were unaware of the danger lurking outside, someone stalking them from behind the trees before disappearing into the darkness.
