Chapter Text
She sat on the cold floor, wondering what she had done to deserve this. Daily visits to his room—his torture chamber—were slowly unraveling her mentally. She could feel it: her nerves twisting every time someone defied her commands.
Being abducted by maniacs and handed over as a subordinate to a psychopath at a young age had left deep scars. Though she despised punishment, it strangely fulfilled something within her; it filled the void of wrath. Whenever her mind threatened to spiral out of control, a masked figure would appear to keep it in check. She didn’t just want it—she needed it.
Even the most feared, Jason, assumed she was some kind of masochist. But despite his cruel and sadistic nature, he was surprisingly indifferent.
She attacked people in the local park? He didn’t care.
She kicked a rabbit off a building? That didn’t bother him either.
But don’t mistake his indifference for leniency. Far from it.
He always made her pay for her misbehavior. If she lost parts of her body, it was her fault—and she was the one begging Tatara not to send her on missions.
“Do you belong to Aogiri Tree?!” Tatara’s voice thundered through the room, sending a chill down your spine.
“...Of course, I—”
“Then act like it, you weakling! One more favor like this, and I swear I’ll kill you myself. Do you understand?!”
“Well, send me on a mission with half an arm then, Tatara-sama. But I refuse to take responsibility if I fail.” You looked down, avoiding his piercing gaze.
“Do you really think I care? This is the fourth time! Eat more, and maybe you won’t be such a weakling.”
“Why don’t you tell him to stop, then, Tatara-sama?”
“Do you really think I have time for this nonsense? You’re the one messing with him—you know the consequences. Do everyone a favor—get over it!” He shouted, delivering a brutal kick to your stomach that sent you flying before vanishing through the back door.
Though you couldn’t block the attack, you refused to hit the walls, landing firmly on the ground instead.
“God, what the hell is wrong with him?” you muttered, pushing yourself up and leaving the room.
