"What's all this, Hiroyuki?" Taiga asked, perched on Hiroyuki's left shoulder and judging by the earring-like weight, was holding onto Hiro's lobe.
"It doesn't look very nutritious," Titas rumbled from his right shoulder, his weight feeling more like a cuff on Hiro's ear.
"It looks good, though!" Fuma called from the top of Hiro's head, his feet dangling like bangs.
"It's for Sempai," Hiroyuki tried to say under his breath. "It's almost Valentine's Day and I want to make him chocos."
"Oooooh. Homare." They all said in unison, sounding far too amused for aliens older than the modern calendar.
"Is it supposed to look like that?" Fuma asked, tippy-toeing to look into the pan of chocolate Hiroyuki was trying to melt.
"I don't get the point of all this," Taiga said loftily, drifting over the pot while on his side, flipping to be on his back and taking a big breath.
"It's an Earth thing," Hiroyuki explained, wiping his forehead with the back of his hand and wincing when he felt a smear of chocolate collect in his bangs. A problem for later. "We make them for this holiday."
"But just for one person?" Titas was using the handle of the pan to do pull ups.
"I mean, Pirika-san and Kana-san kinda have to give me and Homare chocolates, but they won't be as nice as this. We give it back in March."
"That's a lot of smoke," Taiga and Fuma stated in unison.
"Crap!" Hiroyuki lunged to turn the heat down.
"I didn't know that Alien Amayarms blushed in that color," Titas observed from on top of the EGIS microwave.
"I didn't know Hiroyuki could be that clumsy," Taiga snickered.
"Chocolate looks so good," Fuma added wistfully, looking at the chocolate that was now all over the floor, since Homare apparently had had the same idea as Hiroyuki for giving chocolates.
"You two are so cute," Kana said, sounding amused. "But you have to clean up, even if it's Valentine's Day! Then you can go on a date!"
Both Hiroyuki and Homare blushed, glancing at each other before Hiroyuki gave the Ultras a Look that meant they were Not invited later.
