Riku had been scrolling through Instagram when he saw a video of some influencer trying the viral dubai chewy cookie. Obviously, he had seen it before given that he is an idol and keeping up with trends is apart of the job description.
He leaned over slightly to show his screen to the boy next to him "Hyung, look" He gave a slight pout accompanied by a needy sigh "It looks so good"
"It does." Sion hummed softly before wrapping his arm around the younger's shoulder and resting his head on his. "I'm sure the fans would love to see us try it."
Riku nestled his head into the crook of Sion's neck, pouting harder even though Sion couldn't see his face all too well. It was like Sion could sense these things about Riku by now though, like he had studied him so intensely that he could predict his every move.
He wanted to immediately tell him his plan— that the very second Riku showed him the video he planned to buy it for him. Honestly, it hurt him a little to keep it from Riku. But he did nonetheless to heighten the surprise.
Sion rubbed Riku's shoulder, his touch gentle yet firm. "Let's go to sleep now, okay?" He moved his head up and then looked down at the beautiful boy beside him. Riku smiled wide and gave a big nod before shutting off his phone and setting it on his bedside.
Riku snuggled up into Sion's chest, nuzzling his head there for a few seconds like a baby kitten. If Sion had held his breath he swore he would've heard the younger purring. He loved laying with his Riku like this, it was consistently the highlight of his day closing his eyes and opening them to Riku— he liked to believe that Riku would say the same.
They had the next day off, which Sion saw as the perfect opportunity to sneakily buy Riku's gift under the excuse of running errands. He loved spoiling his hime like this and he swore seeing him smile made life worth living.
He returned to their shared dorm with a tiny bag behind his back, kicking his shoes off and yelling out "Kuri!~" for his lover.
Riku popped out of their shared room with curiosity painted on his face, once more resembling a kitten.
Cute. Sion thought to himself. "I have a surprise for you." He smiled wide, holding up the little gift bag while heading for the couch. Riku hurried over towards the couch as well in excitement, plopping himself down and crossing his legs while looking up towards Sion.
Sion let out a soft giggle and set down the bag as he sat down himself. "You're gonna love it, I swear." He slowly pulled the cookie out of the bag slowly while watching the up-tempo anticipation on Riku's face morph into a loud laugh mixed with a few claps.
"OHMYGOSH!! Sion hyung! Where'd you get it?" The younger beamed, his eyes big and sparkly.
"I looked online and saw a cafe just nearby had some, so I went over and picked some up" The older chuckled, rubbing his neck. "Go ahead and try it." He grinned.
Riku's teeth sunk into the small chocolate cookie, revealing the green string-like filling. His eyes immediately lit up as he gasped, looking towards the older boy in front of him.
"Whoa!! Sion, you have to try one!!" He beamed enthusiastically, shielding his full mouth with his hand.
Sion couldn't help but smile widely at the way Riku uncharacteristically talked with his mouth full in excitement. He leaned over and grabbed a cookie, biting into it and instantly lighting up as the sweet taste infiltrated his senses.
"Whoa!!" He exclaimed while looking down at the cookie. "I swear, this is the best thing I've ever tasted."
He looked up at Riku and without missing a beat he burst out into laughter, setting the cookie down before leaning back on the couch and holding his abdomen, feeling his abs constrict.
"Huh? Whats so funny?" Riku chuckled in confusion while tilting his head slightly.
Sion managed to calm himself down enough to lift himself up and gesture to his mouth. "Huh? Is it.. Ohhh" Riku realized with a giggle, followed by similar laughter when he saw Sion's lips were also coated in the cocoa powder.
Through his laughter, Sion also deeply cherished how adorable Riku looked like this, all giggly and covered in chocolate.
After their laughter settled, Sion leaned in and gently licked some of the cocoa powder off of Riku's mouth with a lingering smile, making the younger's heart flutter. Sion turned the slight lick into a kiss.
Riku's mouth tasted like pistachio, marshmallow, and sweet chocolate. Sion already thought he was addicted to Riku but now he was certain he would never be able to let go of him. As he pulled away from Riku he couldn't help but giggle again seeing his face.
"You look so stupid like this." He teased, earning himself a light slap on the arm from the younger followed by a reciprocated laugh and then another kiss. And another. And another. Riku began peppering kisses to Sion's lips.
Sion couldn't help but wonder if this is what heaven felt like. If it was anything else, he wasn't sure he wanted it.
Sion playfully wiped cocoa powder from Riku's plump, glistening lips and pressed it to his nose— He wondered how Riku could look so beautiful, even like this. Riku pretended to be mad but it proved difficult to hide just how happy Sion was making him.
Eventually, Sion gently wiped the cocoa from Riku's mouth (and nose) as if he were a doll; fragile, something to be protected and cared for. Riku reciprocated before pressing one more kiss to Sion's lips, deeper than before. He followed it up by pushing him down onto the couch and laying on top of the older while holding him tight with a giggle sweeter than the cookies they shared.
Riku lifted his head up to look at Sion who was totally lost in adoration. "Thank you hyung" He smiled softly, his voice slightly hoarse and his ribs tough from laughing.
"Anything for my hime." Sion smiled before pressing a soft kiss to Riku's messy hair.
