Chapter Text
The Noodle Incident*
Taichi was staring at his bowl of instant noodles like it was a crime scene.
“It’s too spicy,” he whispered, eyes watering.
“It’s literally mild,” Tendō said, slurping his own like a gremlin.
Semi leaned over. “Just eat slower.”
Taichi shook his head. “It burns my SOUL.”
Goshiki patted his back. “You’re so brave.”
Shirabu walked by, fully ready to ignore all of them… until he saw Taichi’s untouched bowl.
He stopped.
“…You gonna eat that.”
Taichi sniffled. “No. It’s trying to kill me.”
Shirabu shrugged, picked up the bowl, took a massive bite—
—and didn’t react.
Not a blink.
Not a flinch.
Not a single tear.
Then he just turned around…
…and walked away with the bowl.
Like it was his.
The table went silent.
Tendō: “Did… did he just TAKE it.”
Semi: “He didn’t even ask.”
Goshiki: “He didn’t even breathe.”
Taichi slammed the table. “HE STOLE MY NOODLES AGAIN.”
Reon: “He ate it like it was nothing.”
Tendō: “LIKE IT WAS NOTHING.”
Semi stood up. “SHIRABU.”
Shirabu didn’t turn around. “What.”
Semi: “WHY CAN YOU EAT THAT.”
Shirabu: “It’s not that spicy.”
Taichi: “NOT THAT SPICY?”
Goshiki: “ARE YOU A DEMON.”
Tendō: “ARE YOU A DRAGON.”
Ushijima walked up, blinking. “Why is everyone yelling.”
Semi pointed. “HE ATE THE NOODLES.”
Ushijima: “Yes. He was hungry.”
Tendō: “NO. HE ATE THEM LIKE WATER.”
Goshiki: “HE DIDN’T EVEN SWEAT.”
Taichi: “HE STOLE MY PAIN.”
Shirabu sighed, turned around, holding the bowl like a villain.
“…Because I like really spicy things.”
The team exploded.
Tendō: “THAT’S IT?”
Goshiki: “THAT’S THE REASON?”
Taichi: “YOU LIKE IT?”
Semi: “YOU COULD’VE JUST SAID THAT.”
Shirabu: “I’m leaving.”
And he walked out.
Still eating Taichi’s noodles.
