Work Text:
Pain. That's all Jason felt, pain and cold concrete. "Bruce.." He weakly calls his lungs heaving for air, certainly collapsed.
"Please" he croaks Jason's mind spirals as he lays on the floor each breath shorter than the last, its never enough, he was drowning on land. Even while in insurmountable pain Jason crawls towards Sheila raising his cuffed hands to tug at the rope on her hands with all the strength he has left. His hands are trembling and his heart is slowing, the world fading.
"Don't worry, I'll get you out" he tells her, his voice is horribly slurred everything coming out in one word. Jason's blood is seeping into the twine around his mothers wrists. She betrayed him, but he can't let her die.
"Batman will be here soon" Jason says to himself "he has to be" The ticking of the bomb filled his ears as he desperately tried to undo the rope, blood and tears falling down his face.
