He's not going to deny it, he wasn't like this before the war. Although it could be due to the fact that he wasn't completely aware of his feelings for Izuku back then.
But years have passed after their graduation, and Katsuki made sure to convince his childhood friend to move in with him because he wanted to spend as much time with the nerd as possible.
The first few years, Katsuki had to physically stop himself from touching Izuku too much, but one day he couldn't and cuddled with him on the couch, while Izuku was grading papers.
Izuku didn't seem to mind, so the pro hero's greed for Izuku only grew. Now he has to keep one of his hands on Izuku the whole time, at least when they're in the same room, because it's the only thing that keeps Katsuki sane, and docile, like Pinky said once.
His close friends know why he does this, in fact, he doesn't think he's good at being subtle, because his fans also figured it out he's in love with Midoriya Izuku, UA's cutest teacher, and now Dynamight's hero partner, thanks to that suit that Katsuki spent years working his ass off for.
He doesn't regret it though, now he has Izuku's complete gratitude, and affection; his nerd has become a lot more physically affectionate as well, and while Katsuki doesn't want to get his hopes up, he believes he has a better chance now than a couple of years ago.
One day, Katsuki comes back and finds a very emotional Izuku curling up on the couch; his sweet nerd has a beautiful heart, he's so kind, sometimes it affects him deeply, because deep down he thinks he doesn't deserve good things.
Katsuki hasn't talked to him about it, but he's almost sure his father's abandonment has something to do with it. He wishes he could see the bastard just to punch him in the face, but it's better for him to be gone, the pro hero doesn't want him near his Izuku ever again.
He tries to comfort his nerd; Izuku keeps mentioning the suit as he sobs, telling the blond he feels like he owes him something because he made his dreams come true, and he doesn't know what he could possibly give him in return to repay him.
They have had this conversation before, and Katsuki always ends up assuring him he doesn't want anything in return, but that day, his greed grows stronger, tempting him not to let this opportunity slip through his fingers.
He could not get another one.
It's wrong to take advantage of his emotionally distressed friend, the one who has been with Katsuki since they were kids, but, at the same time, his greed is telling him he deserves this; he died and came to life for Izuku, he spent eight years of his life working until exhaustion just for him.
But he did it to help him, to see him happy, not to get anything in return.
And yet he's seen that Round Cheeks and his Izuku have gotten closer these past weeks, and while Katsuki knows they're just friends... he can't quite risk it, can he?
"Let me take you on a date then."
Izuku blushes at the words, but he seems a bit confused.
"I've been in love with you for years now, nerd. I can't believe you haven't noticed." Katsuki chuckles, cradling his cute friend's face in his hands. "Please, just one chance."
Izuku doesn't hesitate, he's flustered, but the pro hero knows him too well, his need to repay him is stronger than anything else.
He was never going to reject him. No matter what.
"As many chances as you want, Kacchan."
It is wrong, but Katsuki has already crossed a line, and he won't be going back to the other side; he'll do anything to keep Izuku by his side, where he belongs.
He seals their deal with a very hungry kiss; Izuku is not used to feeling that bare, exposed need coming from the other pro hero, and perhaps he never imagined having that kind of intimacy with his explosive friend, but just as Katsuki thought, he quickly surrenders to it.
