Will feels the warmth of the sun peeking through the curtains as he slowly wakes up. He checks his phone for the time. Saturday. He didn’t have any plans yet but smiled at the notification from Mike.
“Coming over today. Get ready” The text read.
Will typed back a quick response, a bunny gif nodding as he smiled down at his phone. He didn’t question the spontaneity of it, Mike tended to be like that. Will set his phone back down, yawning before rolling out of bed.
He checked his hair in the mirror, reaching to his vanity to grab a comb to brush out his bedhead. Will skipped over to his closet (happy bunny), trying to figure out what to wear.
Since it was the weekend, he wanted to dress cute especially since Mike was coming over. He chose a sheer yellow bolero that ties in the front, paired with a cream coloured button down puff sleeve blouse from his drawer. He picked out some flare jeans and put everything on. He looked in the mirror with a smile, doing a little spin to check if the outfit was doing what he hoped it would.
It was perfect, he thought. But there was one thing missing.. a necklace! He rummaged through his jewelry box until he found exactly what he was looking for. A necklace that Mike gifted to him for their anniversary. He put it on happily, perking up at the sound of keys unlocking the front door.
He rushed over with a smile on his face, greeting Mike with a warm smile and a hug right as the other boy opened the door.
“Hi baby” Mike let out a chuckle, smiling as he hugged Will back. He looked at Will, pulling back from the hug to really see him.
“You look.. wow..” Mike’s eyes flicker up and down Will’s smaller frame, mouth agape as if he’d start drooling any second now. Will let out a soft giggle.
“Do you like it?” He said with a twirl before grabbing Mike’s hand and pulling him inside.
Mike closes the door behind him, still stunned by his boyfriend’s beauty.
“I- I love it.. I love you” Mike pulls himself together, his hands settling on Will’s waist. “Is this new?” He tilts his head to the side, still looking down at Will and admiring the boy’s outfit.
Will nods with a giggle.
“I wanted to try something new.. They’re definitely new pieces but I thought it was cute so.. after I tried them on I had to get them” Will looked up at Mike, brushing a stray curl behind Mike’s ear.
“Can I see you in more?” Mike blurted out, a smile tugs at the corners of his lips, his fingers brushing against the necklace that Will had around his neck.
“I don’t have much yet.. it wasn’t exactly cheap” Will shuffled backwards until he felt a stool behind him, turning the both of them around so Mike could sit down with Will between his parted legs. Mike’s hands held Will’s waist, trying to sneak beneath the hem of Will’s blouse.
“Can I buy you more?” Mike leaned in, whispering into Will’s ear.
“You look gorgeous like this, you know. Can’t keep my hands off of you. If we stay here any longer I’m afraid we won’t make it anywhere today” Mike’s hands wrapped around Will’s bare waist. He managed to push the fabric of Will’s blouse upwards to expose it.
Will shivered, nodding. “If you really want to..”
Will could never deny Mike of spoiling him like this.. He was a weak man. He had a feeling Mike would enjoy this look on him but not this much!
“Let’s go now then. Cmon, baby” Mike stands up, taking Will’s hand as he leads them back to the door.
“Wait let me get my walle-“ Mike cuts Will off with a kiss, helping Will with his shoes as he urges them out the door.
“I’m right here, bunny. Let’s go.” Will melted at that, his knees buckling slightly as he followed Mike, rushing them down the hall to the parking garage of Will’s apartment. Mike unlocks the car, opening Will’s door for him and buckling him in. He kisses Will on the cheek and then the forehead before closing the passenger side door, heading towards the drivers side. He buckles up quickly, starting the car while he plugged in Will’s phone to connect to the stereo.
Mike drove with one hand on the steering wheel, the other on Will’s thigh as he hummed along to Will’s playlist. Will was smiling, humming along aswell with his hand over Mike’s.
“Eyes on the road, Mike” Will reminds him.
“How could I possibly do that when i have my beautiful boyfriend right beside me”
“You don’t wanna crash the car and kill the both of us” Will retaliates, rolling his eyes playfully with a giggle.
“Okay fiiinee. You’re lucky we’re almost there”
Mike pulls into a parking spot, turning off the car and taking the keys before quickly getting out of the drivers side. He rushes over to the passenger side, opening the door for Will and holding a hand out for him. Will unbuckles his seatbelt and takes his phone in one hand, taking Mike’s hand in the other with a giggle.
“You’re a dork you know that?”
“You love it.”
“Yeah. I do” Will murmurs, stepping up on his tippy toes to give Mike a kiss on the cheek. They headed into the mall hand in hand, looking for the shop that Will got his last clothing items from.
“Hello welcome in! Love your outfit” The sales clerk greeted the two, immediately pointing out Will’s outfit. He thanks her with a smile.
Mike wasted no time in pulling Will to rack after rack of clothes. He chose a few things he knew that Will would like, aswell as things he’d like to see Will in. The sales clerk just watched from the side, smiling at the two as she talked to her coworker at the register.
They ended up with maybe 8 different tops and four different bottoms for Will to try on. Mike held onto the hangers with one hand, holding Will’s hand tight in the other. The two browsed for a little while more before heading to the fitting rooms. Will stepped in before Mike handed Will the array of clothes, closing the door behind him after giving Mike a soft smile and nod.
Mike waited patiently on a bench right outside Will’s fitting room. Soon enough, Will opened the door to reveal the first outfit. It was a pastel blue babydoll dress with a white ruffle lace skirt. Mike stood up, looking at Will in awe.
“That was my pick… You look gorgeous” Mike smiled, looking at the mirror behind Will to see a bow in the back.
“We’re definitely getting that one for you.” Will nods and smiles at that, giving Mike a soft kiss before descending back into the fitting room. Will changed into the next outfit, looking at himself in the mirror before coming out to show Mike. Will was in a pink off the shoulder sweater and a pair of denim shorts, a pair of white legwarmers to finish the look.
Will stepped out, Mike perking up yet again when he heard the fitting room door open.
“We’re getting that one too.” Mike nods, signaling Will to do a twirl for him. Will obliges with a giggle. Mike couldn’t stop smiling. Will was so comfortable and happy and Mike loved to see it. Mike loved all of this infact. Everyone knows he loves Will but seeing the boy happy and thriving is all that he ever needs in life.
Will giggles softly as he closes the door again, going through the last few outfits. Mike immediately said yes to all of them, Will rolling his eyes playfully as he got changed back into what he wore into the store. “You win for today, you get to spoil me” Will giggles, handing the clothes back to Mike as they made their way to the register. The same sales associate greeted the two with a smile, scanning the items and asking if they found everything they needed.
Will held Mike’s hand, Mike nodding at the total as he pulled out his card. He tapped it to the machine, the transaction going through. The sales associate handed Will the bag, smiling at the two and waving them off. “Thank you” came from the two in unison, Will holding Mike’s hand with the bag in the other before Mike took the bag from him.
“New outfits for the princess but who said you have to carry any bags?” Mike kissed Will’s forehead, swinging their arms happily as they walked.
“What else do you want?” Mike asks, gaze intently on Will.
“You already bought me enough, Mike” Will whines, the faint smell of mall pretzels wafting into their direction. Mike notices immediately with a laugh, leading the both of them to the pretzel stall.
“What do you want, baby? Cinnamon sugar?” Will just nods at Mike with a smile.
“We’ll get one Cinnamon sugar please” The worker nods, punching it in on the register. Mike hands them $10, telling the lady to keep the change. Will just smiled. Mike was such a good man. They waited off to the side for their order, Mike’s thumb caressing the back of Will’s hand.
They got called up, Will grabbing the pretzel and saying thank you. He thanked Mike after, kissing him on the cheek.
“Anything for you, bunny” Mike wraps his arm around Will, leading them back to the car. He opens Will’s door yet again, helping the boy into his seat before climbing into the driver side. Will ate his pretzel, Mike leaning over to steal a bite before pulling Will in for a kiss. He smiles against Will’s lips.
“You taste sweet” Mike chuckles as he kisses Will again.
“Let’s go home now” Will pulls away kissing Mike’s cheek before finishing his pretzel. He was happy, Mike was happy, and Will went home absolutely spoiled with more cute clothes to wear for himself and Mike’s enjoyment.
