Just after winning the musical show , William life changed for the better, he was now acknowledged as a rising star among his peers and was assigned to a renowned company among his mates. Now he was in a band with 4 talented individuals who in such short time has became as important as his family.
William woke up to the sound of his alarm, the first thing he did was pick up his phone and checked his notifications to start his day. Suddenly his phone pinged , a smile crept up on his face, he girlfriend messaged him a simple 'Good morning love ' text which made him feel warm the first thing in the morning. He's new to this , to have an actual relationship with someone, not just someone but with a beautiful girl who liked him immensely. His group mates were more than happy when he told them that a girl liked him , they were the one who encouraged him to live his life other than just being engrossed in his passion. It was the truth, he doesn't really cared abouts anything other than music so when Hazel confessed to him with pretty flowers, he happily accepted her feelings.
Today , he has to go to the company for it's new project announcement where he is selected to play a lead in a show among his team members where they are mimicking their real life, they have to act being in a group. The only thing the project lacked was the main character's love interest, the team couldn't find anyone to play the perfect Po, his love interest in the show. He was nervous as hell as they were searching for a man , a man to play his love interest , this was a bl production as his first series. It was a good project and his management supported him and his members to take the offer as it could support their group publicity.
He got ready and left his apartment in a hurry as his manager was waiting to pick him up in his car. He bowed to greet him and quickly settled in the backseat.
P'Ko- did you heard, they finally found someone to play Po?
William - I didn't. Are you serious?
P'Ko- yes I'm serious. You're meeting him today
William - what? Who's he ? From where did they find him?
P'Ko- Est Supha. He was called today to check your chemistry with him
William- Est? Is he not from our company? I've Never heard his name before
P'Ko- no he's not . He's a professional swimmer who's won our country a medal in olympics. He's a real treasure , if he's selected for the role, he's going to join our company in no time
William - a swimmer ? Wow
PKo- come on, we've reached. Go straight to the rehearsal room , no wandering here and there!!!Ok kid? I'll be right there after I park the car
William - yes yes I'm not a kid anymore
P'Ko- you'll always be. For me .
William entered the company building and went straight to the cafe to order his morning coffee, ignoring his manager's instructions. He took his coffee and ran to the hallway where the lifts are waiting for the members. He quickly got in one and tapped the number 4, as the doors were about to close a hand quickly interrupted the movement of the automatic doors. A figure which he has never seen before entered the lift , he was wearing a blue v-neck tshirt which was tight around the waist and low cut which complimented his chest muscles a little too much . William swallowed his coffee, slowly dragging his eyes up to catch the face of the figure, but the man quickly turned around to face the closing door. William looked at the broad back of the figure and literally forgot about the coffee. The physique of this man made him question about the anatomy of man, those broad shoulders clearly indicating athletic built but that waist, it was criminally small on a man. The lift stopped on the fourth floor and the man started walking to the conjoint halfway, William followed behind sceptical thinking where's this person going. He didn't think much but followed the man to the same audition hall where the production team was going to meet him. He saw the man go in the door , he quickly followed him to not leave him out of the sight. He was now interested to see the face of this unknown figure , he was unknowingly too invested.
As he entered the same door, he was met with his manager who stopped him on his tracks,
P'Ko- where were you? I told you to come here directly right?
William - i went to the cafe to get myself a coffee
P'Ko- I could have brought it for you . Anyways, Est is already here so they are going to call you any second. Be prepared
William- where ? Show me
Instead of showing him the person, his manager called out the name loudly. William looked around to search for the mysterious person who was in the lift with him instead of the one being called out. Suddenly a soft voice perked his ear
Est - yes?
He spun around to the direction of voice, he saw a man in the same blue tshirt he saw earlier coming closer with a smile on his face. William forgot how to breathe for a second when his eyes finally registered the face of the man, small eyes , a chiseled face with a pair of plumped lips which definitely was colored red via lipstick and a small mole placed near his upper lip. The man greeted his manager with a handshake and turned towards him, the smile was back on those pretty set of lips. Pretty? What? The man spoke something but he couldn't hear , he knew because his eyes were focused on the man's lips moving . Suddenly, a jerk to his shoulder broke his trance
P'Ko- William? Hey? This is Est, what are you doing? Greet him properly
EST - Hey William! I'm Est. Est supha
William - William
William internally panicked when the soft voice blessed his ears, do people talk like this, like this man? Really? William could just utter his name still dumbfounded,still looking at the man's face. Then the man decided that he didn't wish that William should live long so he started to smile brightly right in front of his face. William was sure he wasn't breathing this second , he opened his mouth slightly to inhale some air, clearly forgetting how breathing even works.
Est- is there something on my face?
William- huh?
EST - um you've been staring at my face
P'Ko- William, don't be rude . Seriously, kid
William - pretty
William should just die, yes he should. He said what he was thinking aloud. He saw Est's smile disappear , he looked confused, confused but cute. Cute? What's happening to him? He shook his head to regain consciousness which decided to part ways from his body after seeing the gorgeous man
EST -what?
William- I'm sorry. I'm William. I am the one playing Thame
EST- I know and congrats for winning the show . You're seriously so talented
William (shocked)- did you watch the show?
EST - no but I saw the performances after being told about your group and you really have a good voice
William's cheeks started to burn because Est's voice sounded sincere which melted him from within
William - thankyou
Suddenly, the director of the project called them both over microphone , Est went first hearing his name but William could only watch him go as his legs refuses to co-operate.
P'Ko- what happened to you? Why are you behaving like this?
William - am I seriously going to act with him? Look at him P'Est. He's so beautiful, I've never seen someone quite like him before
PKo- you're calling a 6ft man beautiful? His arms are as big as my face
William- that's true. Why didn't you tell me that he's this gorgeous? Look at me , I look like a joker in front of him
P'Ko- it's nothing like that. Did you forget, you're crowned as an Alpha of the show just recently
William - but
P'Ko- go, they are calling you
William slowly dragged his feet where the director of the show was talking to Est , he went and stood beside him quietly
Director - William, did you meet Est? He's the one I selected personally. This is the scene I want both of you to enact right now. I'll give you 10 minutes okay, try it out
William and Est both were handed a paper sheet which had a summary written , Est looked like he was already memorizing the lines written on the sheet. While Est who looked like he was drowing in the paper , William couldn't focus as his eyes kept drifting to where Est was. His little movements kept making him lose his mind, this has never happened before but the man in front of him is just too endearing. Est looked up towards William catching him staring, again, he motioned him to come here and like an obedient puppy William went and sat beside him
Est- so did you finish reading?
William - huh?
Est- the script
William - oh oh. Ah yes
Est - haha such a bad liar you are
Est's giggle rang through his ears straight to his heart as he could feel it warming up in his chest. How adorable he looked while smiling at him , William thought.
William - that I am.
Est smiled, genuinely smiled. William wasn't sure why though, is it because he has made a complete fool of himself since he met Est or because he looked like a fool. He doesn't want to know though.
Director - EST, William come on guys let's see you both together
Now the place which was once surrounded with people was now empty than before, the hall only had him , Est , his manager who looked more than hopeful and the director. Est started coming close to him to start his act but William wasn't prepared for it even a little. The scene that they were given was completely forgotten as Est stumbled and William instinctively held his waist to ground him. Est's hands were now on his shoulder and his face just inches apart from him, William's eyes slowly mapped his face, from his eyes to his lips and then to his eyes. Est mouth opened slightly and William eyes widened seeing his those lips making a heart, Est truly was made by Gods themselves. Both held each other for seconds or minutes, he doesn't know untill the director yelled CUT. Est quickly pushed himself back from William , looking everywhere else but at him while William still cannot take his eyes off of Est.
Director - that was just.... I don't think we even need to enact the script because that was enough to see the electric chemistry you both have
EST - huh?
Director - I'll mail you the real draft of the story Est, I don't need to see anything more. You're my character, Thame's Po
Est - I- um, thanks P'. I don't know what to say
Director - you don't have to, not right now. Okay then let's all meet a week later for the final reading.
Est- ah yes okay
The director and PKo left them alone in the big hall which now felt too small to William. Est looked relief like he was waiting for something like this his whole life , he closed his eyes to live this moment a little longer, completely forgetting William's presence in the hall. When he opened his eyes , he saw William looking intently at him,
EST - William , you're staring.AGAIN
William - you look so beautiful,Phi. It's not my fault
If William could mentally slap himself, he would have. He wasn't sure what was he doing right now but seeing Est blushing, he might have done something meaningful in this life to witness something like this
Est- You!!!! Stop it. Looks like we'll see more of each other from now on
William - looks like it. Congrats P'Est
Est- I , I have to go. Let's meet again sometime?
William - ig
Est- huh?
William - give me your insta id P, I'll add you
Est- oh ok , it's.........
William - bye P'Est. It was nice meeting you
EST - bye William
Est left first but William quietly sat down on the exact spot where Est left him. He couldn't possibly understand what just happened, he quickly opened Instagram and found Est's id to send him a request. He breathed enough to calm himself down, he felt a little lighter than before. He rubbed his temple trying to understand the chain of events that happened to him when his phone rang ,the name alone brought him back to reality. Hazel, his girlfriend. He accepted the call the second time trying to collect himself,
Hazel- William?
William - yes sorry I was a little busy
Hazel - are you free now?
William - yes, let's meet in an hour?
Hazel- okay, call me.
His manager entered the hall to see him sitting on the floor with his phone.
P'Ko- Good work today, let's get you home
William - ah yes , let's go P'
