Circe is having an internal conflict. Everyone keeps calling her a witch and it's getting rather annoying.
She's a sorceress, not one of those ugly wart-infested WITCHES. They're two totally different things!
She just.. turns certain deserving men into pigs.
(That does kinda seem like something a witch would do...)
But they deserved it!
