Cabin Freaks: The Squeakuel

Work Text:

The bed creaked in the late crisp night, Fifteen tossed and turned grumbling through tightly grit teeth.

Her movements stirred her bedmates awake, but they remained still so as to not wake Fifteen.

After a few more minutes of this tussling, Fifteen finally got out of bed and trudged into the bathroom.

“You think she's ok?” Zro asked as Fourteen spooned him “Mmph I dunno… too tired to care…” it mumbled nuzzling into Zro’s hair.

He scoffed, “I know you don't mean that.” He sounded more like he was reassuring himself turning around to look Fourteen eye-to-eye.

“Hiya… cute lil schnack~” it whispered, unfurling its tongue from its maw.

Zro whimpered “F-Fourteen…” he shook as his face flushed. “I need to go check on Fifteen.” He mumbled breaking away.

Zro could hear Fourteen grumbling behind him as he exited the room walking towards the bathroom.

He stopped just outside the door, hearing the muffled sounds of sniffled sobs and pained retching.

“Fifteen..? You ok in there?” Zro felt uneasy, “I'm fine. Go back to bed, sorry for wakin-” Fifteen was interrupted by a sudden upchuck leaving her a groaning mess on the floor.

"I'm comin’ in.” He said opening the door.

“I'm sorry you had to see me like this Zro…” Fifteen mumbled folded over the toilet.

“W- what's going on?” His evident concern weighed heavy in the room.

“Just goin’ through it hun. Sorry.” She looked at him, her chest soaked in vomit.

She nudged her knee forward hiding something behind the toilet. “What's that?”

She was shocked at being suddenly put on the spot “it's a… uh- bottle… of whiskey.”

Her defeated voice rang continuously in Zro's mind. “I thought you were clean..?” His frown deepened, not a look of anger or sadness, but just disappointment.

“...” She couldn't look at him. “I'm sorry. Zro.”

He sat down next to her, “What is going on?” he asked, his head cocked to the side.

She shuddered, “Last few months, I've just been feeling horrible… about myself.” She admits.

“Fifteen. You're amazing. I can't name a single bad thing about you.”

She chuckled “Oh yes you can. I'm rude, fat, drunk, a tranny, Oh! And I hate everyone not in this house.

“You're the most beautiful girl I know. I don't care that you drink sometimes, I don't care about your short fuse, and I certainly don't care about you being a little tiny bit on the heavier side.”

Her frown crumbled into a weak smile at his words, She was reminded why she loved this weird little grey man so much.

“Thank you Zro.” She stifled a few tears before rising to her feet with a grunt, she pulled Zro in tight. “Mmm, I love you Fifteen.” He mumbled against her shoulder.

“I love you too…” her voice, uncharacteristically soft.
