Work Text:

Parrot looked at his room; small, boring and minimalistic. It made him bored out of his mind. He decided to stand up from his bed and walk around, to stimulate some movement.

He heard footsteps, distant but getting louder. He knew who it was, Wifies, the very friend that trapped him in the prison.

Sure enough he came in the room, leaning against the wall with a smug smile, "Still sulking, Parrot?"

"Shut it." The bird huffed, turning his head away.

Wifies got off the doorframe and walked to Parrot, tilting his chin to meet his eyes, "You should smile more, it's beautiful, honestly."

He pulled away from his grip, his wings flaring.

"Don't touch me."

"Why not?"

"Just don't."

The other didn't budge but was a bit irritated.

"You know..."

Wifies put his hand in his pocket, searching for something, when he pulled it out? A blade.

The bird froze, just great.

"I always thought you were rude, even with the drugs I administered you to take. I guess I have to do this the hard way." He said, acting thoughtful and walking close to him.

Parrot backed away, but soon his back was against the wall.

"Wait we can talk about this-"

"No need." He smiled.

Wifies threw Parrot on the ground, making him let out a groan. His vision was blurred for a short moment and when he could see clearly, Wifies was straddling him.

He used his knife and roamed around his body, stopping at his wings, "Do you still wanna misbehave?"

Parrot squirmed, cursing under his breath, the other didn't like that.

Before the bird could react, he raised the blade and strike down at the middle of his wings.

Parrot let out a loud squawk, "WIFIES-" he squirmed, writhing in pain.

"Shh... this is what happens when you don't behave." Wifies purred.

His blade wandered his arms, making a thin line of blood. He notices Parrot's old scars before he entered Paragon.

Out of fun, he slashed all of them open, making the bird cry out, "PLEASE NO-" Blood seeped out, pain overfilling Parrot's senses.

Wifies was satisfied, but plucked out a few feathers from his wings just to make sure who has more power, "There, how are you feeling now?"

The bird didn't answer other than a wail.

"Good, good." He let him up, but Parrot didn't want to get up, he curled into a ball of feathers and blood.

"Oh, come on, I didn't hurt you that bad."

"YOU BROKE MY WING!"

"It'll heal back anyway." He finished the argument with a glare.

Wifies didn't want to leave Parrot all crying, it honestly made him a bit sad, but also sadistic, "Oh come here..."

He lifted the wounded bird to his chest; he wasn't surprised Parrot didn't budge out.

He kissed his forehead comfortingly, hugging him tight enough to make him let out a choked sob.

"I had to do this, you wouldn't listen."

Wifies laid the bird down to his bed, blood still trickling down and staining his mattress.

"Goodnight, darling." He said, then left the room with a last glance to him.

Parrot still was crying, but with the small comfort he had calmed down a little. He gripped his wing as if worried.

After for a while, the bird had slept off, blood dried in his feathers.
