Chapter Text
'I hoped to never end in this darkness.
Why it had to be exactly this darkness?
There is a great variety of stories that could have been choosed to torture and induce him nightmares, is quite easy actually.
But why this one!?
And with this people!'
Kim Soleum looked at the people he was with at the moment, Chief Lee Jaheon, Go Yeongeun, Baek Saheon, Eun Haje,... there were also Agent Choi and Bronze.
'Really... a very competent team, we even have various named characters...
This should be reassuring... it should...
But in this darkness this is both a blessing and the worst of the curses!'
Before bein trapped in this darkness, Kim Soleum, or rather, Agent Grapes, had just finished a mission with the Agents Bronze and Choi.
And now they were returning to the bureau.
The were strong gusts of wind that brought chills down their spines, and with them another thing.
A leaflet.
It was very colorful and striking, maybe a little to much, as it even resulted strident at the sight.
Displeasing, even if the leaflet seemed to be made to try and convey the exact opposite reaction.
[The Circus is in the town!
Don't miss the chance to come to this incredible, unique, awesome, unforgettable, amazing, marvelous, beautiful, extraordinary, spectacular,...]
"..."
The Agents were little baffled by the praise.
And honestly, the situation was...
Sketchy.
Or this was the start of a darkness, or whoever designed this leaflet still had quite a lot to learn.
Their doubts were answered when right after finishing reading the pamphlet they started to hear music.
The kind of music used on circuses.
'Yep, definetly a darkness'
Thought Kim Soleum, but there was a little problem.
'What darkness could it be?
There are tons of stories that lean in the horror of circuses, and is so easy to start a story with a pamphlet that will lead to the characters doom' (Wink wink)
'Is just too used and generic!'
While Kim Soleum racked his brain about what darkness could it be, Agent Choi spoke.
"It seems that the path we took to get here has been... blocked"
Agent Choi was right, the path they used was now filled with a very think fog that didn't let even a silhouette be seen.
It would be reckless to go there, not even bein able to see your own hands.
Agent Bronze looked at the opposite side of the path, where no fog could be seen and where the music seemed to sound clearer.
It was quite clear what they had to do.
