Valeria Charm. The extravert of the Charm family. He was always outgoing, unlike his siblings who resideed in their room drawing or reading, Valeria was making songs and going out for archery practice. Even though Valeria was out going, he wasn't the best at making friends. People tended to call him loud or too much, but not everyone. Jaskier Ventra was the one person who seemed to like the way Valeria was. He would always watch from a distance at archery practice as Valeria would focus on aiming just right to strike the target perfectly.
Jaskier never went up to talk to Valeria, he simply watched from afar each day. Valeria noticed this after a few weeks of it happening and goes over to talk to Jaskier.
"Hello, I couldn't help but notice you watching me, not that I mind, just wanted to talk to you." Valeria says trying not to come off as too much.
"How observant. You are quite skilled with that bow, I'm impressed." Jaskier claims in his almost seductive voice, it's deep and rich like dark chocolate. Jaskier's voice alone makes Valeria's flutter.
"Th-thank you, I've been doing archery for years now, but it's always a nice feeling when someone complements you. I don't think I ever caught your name?" Valeria stutters slightly trying to seem cool.
"Jaskier, Jaskier Ventra. And you are?" Jaskier introduces himself his voice never losing the richness even as he asks questions
"Valeria Charm, but most call me Val. It's lovely to meet you" Valeria greets him with a smile
"Val, huh, It's pretty, I like it" Jaskeir leans slightly forward as he says that, his green hair falling over where his eyes would be. Valeria takes notice to the bandages over Jaskier's eyes, but doesn't say anything about it as to not push him away.
"Thank you, Jaskier, I like your name too" Valeria's voice falters into curiosity towards the end, and Jaskier notices almost immediately.
"Are you all right you seem... Curious?" Jaskier asks
"I'm fine, I was just wondering... nevermind" Valeria dismisses his curiosity but Jaskier won't let him get off the hook that easy.
"No no, what were you going to ask me?" Jaskier asks pushing the topic.
"Just, um, well...oh jeez...I was just wondering...um... Did something happen to your eyes, they're completely bandaged over" Valeria ask hesitantly trying not to accidentally annoy Jaskier.
"Well, Val, it's a bit of a long story, but to make a long story short, it's a side effect of something much larger, the side effect being my immune system attacking my eyes, so before I completely lost them I had gone blind. Despite that I can still see you, not in the way you would think though, I can see your figure, your shape, your height, but that's about it, it's like staring at a shadow in a way." Jaskier explains, standing up as he does so.
"How interesting, so you don't know what I look like but you know how I'm shaped?" Valeria asks wanting to confirm that he heard it correctly.
"Yes, that's right, you're a tiefling, yes? I can tell by the shape of your horns that you're not dragonborn, and you're too tall to be a Kobald." Jaskier states proving his point even further.
"Yes, I am, my gods that's impressive, you can tell exactly what I am just by my silhouette, that's incredible" Valeria exclaims softly and shock and awe.
"I'm glad you think so." Jaskier says in the same rich tone he has had this whole conversation, "would you be interested in taking a walk down at the river with me, I normally go with someone else but they aren't here anymore, it would be nice to have someone to talk to, what do you say?"
"Sure, I'd be happy to, just promise not to throw me in." Valeria says teasingly
Jaskier chuckles softly, "I promise"
