“Have you ever played 21 questions?”
William stared at Travie, confused at her question.
“What?”
“Have you ever played 21-“
“No I heard you, but why are you asking me that?”
“Just wondering”, Travie shrugs her shoulders.
It was a calm Friday night, and Travie and William had spent basically the night eating snacks and just talking. Since they started their break, they just dedicated to themselves to hanging out with eachother.
“So have you ever played it before…?”
“Yeah in like high school”, William says.
Travie smirked and suddenly leaned forward, resting her chin in her hands. “We should play it.”
William suddenly froze in fear. She shouldn’t have lied about playing it in high school… now look at the consequence she has to face. If only she told the truth, but she was way too scared since Travie had played it before.
“Absolutely not.”, William looked down at the floor.
“Pleeeeeeeeease? It will be fun I promise.”
“No one even plays this game anymore though”, William frowns.
“So what?”
Maybe this wouldn’t be a bad idea…, William thought to herself. I mean if you think about it she would basically get to know Travie more through playing this game.
“Fine, I guess we can play”, William sits up.
Travie grinned. She moved herself closer to William on the couch and made herself comfortable.
The another reason William agreed was because she had a big fat lesbian crush on Travie McCoy. But it wasn’t her fault Travie was beautiful and cute and gorgeous and alot of other things she could say, but we’d be here for ages.
“Okay, the rules are we can ask eachother anything but we must answer every single question.”
William’s eyes widened, “Every single question…?”
Travie nodded. “Thats what makes it fun. Anyways, you go first.”
William thought to herself for a moment.
“What’s your favourite food…?”
“Seriously?”, Travie giggled.
“I’m not great at questions okay…”, William awkwardly smiled.
“Dude it’s okay”, Travie smiled, “I like burgers.”
“Nice”, William grinned.
“My turn.”, Travie smirked. “Who was your first girl crush?”
“Uhm, probably this girl I went to high school with. I don’t remember her name but she was pretty cute.”
“That’s cute”
“Who was your first girl crush?”
“Mine was this girl I used to work with during high school. She was like the coolest person ever.”
A slight wave of jealousy came over William. Gosh, why am I so jealous, this was ages ago.
“William? You okay?”, Travie asks.
“Huh? Oh, yeah I’m okay.”
“It’s your turn again.”, Travie smiled.
A hour had passed, and the questions got more and more personal each time. William was glad she agreed to play as this was a way to get to know Travie more. By the 15th question, they suddenly started to ask eachother about their romantic lives.
The game flew too quickly though. Probably because William was playing it with someone she really really liked. But now, there were only two questions left.
William pondered on the last question she was going to ask. She had asked Travie if she had a crush and to her surprise she said yes. And William was just craving for the answer.
She turned to Travie and looked directly into her eyes.
“So… who do you have a crush on?”
Travie smirked as she leaned in closer. William suddenly started to feel really hot.
“You really wanna know?”
William thought for a second, then nodded.
“It’s you.”
William’s eyes widened as she tried to comprehend what she had just heard.
“W… what?”
“I like you.”
The room went silent for a moment. William could not believe that Travie actually liked her. This was like a dream come true.
She had alot of thoughts right now….
“So,” Travie asked. “Who do you have a crush on?”
“I like you. I’ve liked you for a while.” William’s face started to get hot. She basically just confessed one of her biggest secrets…
Suddenly, it was just silence again. They just confessed and they both like eachother. But now what?
Travie leaned forward and pressed her lips against hers. William cupped Travie’s face as she got more into the kiss. The two girls pushed up against eachother as they tried to get closer to one another.
Travie pulled back, allowing both of them to catch their breaths.
“You’re a good kisser.”, Travie praised William.
William blushed. She had never kissed anyone before but she was glad Travie enjoyed it.
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”
This night was one of the best nights she’s ever had.
