Work Text:

“HOORAY! I’m so happy for you, Babe!”

Reed had just finally gotten his driver’s license, and now he was celebrating with his wife. They were jumping up and down and squealing when Johnny strolled past them.

“Hey, I’m leaving. I got a gig today,” he said casually.

“Uh… what kind of gig?” Reed asked.

“Underwear modeling,” Johnny grinned.

“No!” Sue shrieked. “You can’t do that!”

“What?” Johnny asked. “Why not?”

“It’s indecent!” Sue said. “I don’t want everyone seeing you in your undies!”

“Relax, it’s not like I’ll be posing naked.”

“I still don’t like it. Don’t go.”

“I am going, and you can’t stop me,” Johnny said.

“Reed! Stop him!” Sue commanded.

Reed grabbed Johnny and pulled him close, wrapping his arms around him like snakes. “I think you’d better listen to your sister.”

“Let go of me before I burn you!” Johnny shouted.

“You wouldn’t!”

“I will!” Johnny got hotter and hotter until Reed had no choice but to let go.

“I’ll be leaving now.” Johnny stuck his tongue out, turned around, and slapped each butt cheek. Then, swaying his hips, he walked away.

A couple of months later…

Sue was reading a magazine when she suddenly screamed.

“Babe, what’s wrong?” Reed asked. “Did a spider crawl onto the page?”

“No…. it’s… this!” Sue pointed to a picture. It was of Johnny, wearing a pair of sleek blue boxer briefs and posing in a way that somehow both showed off his face and accentuated his butt.

“Oh,” Reed shrugged. “Guess they finally printed it.”

“Don’t you think it’s disgusting?” she asked. “Don’t you hate it?”

“I’m… indifferent,” Reed said.

“I can’t believe they would include this horrible image. I don’t think I can even finish reading my magazine now…” Sue started to cry.

Reed reached over and tore the offending page out.

“Is that better?

“Yes. Thank you, sweetie.”

“You’re welcome,” Reed sighed. He shook his head as he walked away, folding the picture and placing it into his pocket.

Later that day, Reed was driving to the grocery store. Unfortunately, he still wasn’t a very good driver, and he got into an accident.

Everything faded to black and he woke up in the hospital a day later. Once he was fully conscious, he noticed something on his bedside table. A framed picture. But not just any picture. The picture of Johnny in his undies. It had somehow survived the accident.

When a nurse came in, Reed asked about the picture.

“We figured it must be important to you, since you brought it with you in the car, so… we framed it! You really love him, don’t you?”

“No. No, I don’t.”
