Pure Vanilla had been waiting for a long time to do this again! A Cookiemas party…oh, had he missed his dear friends, whom deserved nothing but the best. This had to be perfect. He lightly set down some berry juice on the meal filled table for Hollyberry. Pure Vanilla chuckled to himself, imagining the queen chugging down the drinks like they were nothing.
Everyone in the kingdom was prepared for the rest of the ancients arrival, especially Gingerbrave. The Vanilla Kingdom’s king couldn’t help but relate with the teenager, who wouldn’t be excited? These were their friends. Pure Vanilla hummed a song to himself as he encountered Black Raisin Cookie. “Oh! Pure Vanilla Cookie.”
“Black Raisin Cookie! How are you?” He almost seemed to…become brighter? He had chose his Awakened form for the day, and he already seemed to have an angel aura of some sort. “I’m…I’m good.” She was getting distracted, and wasn’t sure if it was from his beauty or that he was practically the equivalent of a massive white star in a pitch black sky. “Aren’t you excited? After the war…though we did have a celebration of our own, it has still been a while since then..” he clasped his hands together. He was..definitely getting brighter, what in the name of Earthbread…?
Knock knock knock ~
“They’re here!” Pure Vanilla Cookie immediately made his way to the table, as he heard voices. It was them! “Pure Vanilla Cookie!” Hollyberry was the first to come in. Pure Vanilla was extremely happy to see them again, and waved uncontrollably, he could barely hold back his actions of joy. “Oh my dear friends, how I’ve missed you! How have you been? Your kingdoms? Nothing happened, of course?” The words came out as if they were nothing, spilling out of the excited vanilla blonde. Golden Cheese, who was behind Hollyberry, showed off her wings. “Nothing has happened to my beautiful kingdom! All my citizens will never change.”
The king behind the 2 women lightly smiled, something that (on the occasions they met up after their awakenings) was becoming more and more often. It was sweet, unlike the bitter foods from his kingdom. “It seems you have fit a buffet for us..”
“I thought it would be fitting, I apologize!”
“No need to apologize, my friend!” Hollyberry pat Pure Vanilla on the back and instantly, the cookie gasped. The air was completely knocked out of him. Everyone froze, the color drained out of them for a moment. “Pure Vanilla Cookie, are you okay?” A softer voice came from behind everyone.
White Lily Cookie.
She’d finally agreed to come. Pure Vanilla had instantly snapped back to reality at the sight of her, but still out of breath. “I’m-I’m great, White Lily Cookie! I wasn’t expecting you to come..!”
“I couldn’t say no, hm?”
Were..were these two flirting? Whatever was going on, Hollyberry, Golden Cheese, and Dark Cacao felt sidelined, causing Hollyberry to clear her throat. “Ahem, you lovebirds, don’t we have things to do?”
The two in front of them instantly flushed red. “Yes, y-yes! I’m sorry!” Pure Vanilla turned around to face his friends, so did White Lily. “I believe we could eat first and just..talk, discuss anything in our lives..! It has been an awful while since doing anything of the such.”
