Chapter Text

“Kacchan!!” Izuku yelled out as he ran towards him, his hand held up in the air for him to notice, his suit wrinkled as well as his tie was missing. “Heh?!!!” Katsuki responded as he stood out like a damn idiot; just waiting for Izuku to slowly close the distance between them both.

Izuku panted as he finally stood in front of Katsuki, one hand on his knees and the other just infront of Katsuki. A moment passes by and Izuku finally catches his breath and is stable enough to meet those red eyes of Katsukis.

”Kacchan—ha—you really didn’t wait for me, huh?” Izuku said as little panting escapes from his mouth, slowly standing straighter as he makes recovery.

He takes a moment in before saying anything else, just a gentle silence, just cars passing by, just passersby walking, just light gleaming over them by the streetlights and buildings.

Izuku shows that dorky smile he always have ever since they were kids, Fuck. Don’t pull that on me. Katsuki thought.

”If you have something to say nerd, just say it.” He said as he held the hand that was up in the air for a long time. Interlocking them both as if it was a natural thing to do. A small blush crept up on his cheeks but it wasn’t visible enough.

Izuku’s face immediately exploded to red, seeing how intimate the hand holding is—though he doesn’t mind—he just accepted it and held him back. “Kacchan…” he muttered under his breath. A gentle saying.

Katsuki couldn’t help but just creep up a smile a bit, just a small upward turn on the corner of his lips. Gazing at the shorter mans eyes, a green universe he can describe.

“Well… actually… I wanted to give you something!” Izuku broke the comfortable silence between them as both hands reach the backpack—breaking the hand holding they had.

As he unzips his yellow bag, he rambled a bit and took out a nicely decorated envelope—a wedding envelope it looked—it was a nicely colored green and a pink wax that complimented it nicely.

Izuku held out the envelope and bowed. “Please accept this!” He said with a loud voice, nervousness alongside, “what’s this?”

Before even snatching it aggressively—like he always does—Izuku immediately took a hold of his hands and forcibly put it on Katsuki’s hands.

Stunned by the others action, he couldn’t think or resist properly. He planned to not take the nicely decorated envelope and just get along with his life—no—Izuku crushed that for him.

”Accept it, Kacchan!” He says heartily, “The hell is this anyway?” Katsuki said, sighing in defeat as well as he held onto the green envelope.

Izuku looked up to him first, shining and blessing Katsukis ruby red eyes with his emerald greens, a universe to be seen in them painted with perfection. Green. All green was just what Katsuki thought of. This is fucking pathetic, even for him.

His mouth slowly opening, but closed it once again, showing hesitation. “Kacchan,” Izuku finally started off. “Me and Ochako-chan… is.. having—“ Izuku cut himself off before even continuing, he was already somehow flustered before getting to the point.

if Katsuki wasn’t patient only for Izuku, he would’ve blasted him into oblivion. So he waited until Izuku was prepared to say it, even tightly holding his hands with the envelope.

.

.

.

“it’s me and Ochako-chans wedding invitation to you!” Izuku finally let out.

Those words wasn’t what he expected, but atleast it didn’t weigh that heavy.

Katsuki looked at Izuku one more time before letting go of his hands. “Huh, really?” He said as he glanced at the envelope. The colours make sense now. Green and Pink. Their colours.

Izuku let out a breath that he unconsciously kept inside of his lungs, breathing a sigh of relief as he brought his hands to his chest. Izuku gave that damn smile again and met his eyes, again.

He let out a chuckle just to ease the situation a bit, for Katsuki, “I thought Kacchan wouldn’t take it if I didn’t make him take it! So I just did that!” He said, laughing. Giggling.

He’s funny.

Without Izuku knowing, that same glance from Kacchan, he looked at him so softly. Way too damn softly at someone who’s engaged.

Izuku snapped out of his laughing trance and made a face that screamed I just realized something! he checked his watch and noticed the time, 12:37 AM. “Oh crap! Kacchan, I have to go now!”

Izuku dashed through the streets before giving him a final wave of goodbye, “I’ll see you later at UA if you’re planning to visit again!” Giving him a warm smile, a big warm smile.

Katsuki waved goodbye as well but didn’t say a word. It would be too painful to. Once Izuku finally turned his back, slowly disappearing, Katsukis eyes started to water.

Though, he didn’t let it pour, no, he wasn’t weak. He was a man, a pro-hero, someone who had a big contribution at the war, someone who defeated All for One. He didn’t let useless tears run or slide down his cheeks just because of a boy—no! He was a bigger man than that.

So he stayed there, where he stood, until Izuku really was out of his sight. Waiting for him to finally get out. Out of his damn life.

He wiped his tears with his wrists that were scarred, his frown becoming more and more visible, his pout being transparent. He looks way too obviously upset.

1:27 AM. The time he finally arrived at home to relax after having another drink at a different bar. He definitely needed a stronger alcohol to forget about everything.

Izuku Midoriya is way too cruel.

He let himself fall into his couch, not even heading for the bed and stayed there. He didn’t want to do anything with the world. He wanted to disappear and fall inside the couch. He was way too wasted.

He’ll get a damn hungover at the morning while doing his hero work, but whatever. It’s worth it to drown himself rather remember everything that happened this night.

Bakugo Katsuki is a damn idiot.
