“Why are you so happy?” Loki asked, amusement visible in his eyes.
“Meatballs! Family recipe!” Mobius replied. He was combining the ingredients with his hands in a large bowl.
Loki frowned and Mobius flushed immediately at the lie that lived so happily inside his head but was found out as soon as the words left his mouth.
“…I just always thought that this kind of dish would be perfect for a family recipe. Meatball day. The kind of thing everyone would get excited about.” He said apologetically, knowing full well that in this scenario “everyone” meant only him. The family of one.
Loki stepped behind him, wrapping his arms around his waist. He leaned in and said:
“It could be.”
“What?”
“It could be our family recipe.” Loki said and placed a kiss on Mobius’s temple.
