‘All right I just need to speak with Miss. Proxy for assistance.’ The wolf therian thought as he walked to Random Play. Though it didn’t help his nerves, Belle was already quite the character, bubbly and social at first glance, however she has shown time and time again that she could be quite vicious. This was doubled when it came to her brother, if he hadn’t seen it first hand he would hardly believe the lady to be capable of such . . . . actions for a lack of a better term. Softly shaking his head the butler walked to the front of Random Play and entered.
“Eh na” 18 mumbled, seeming to have woken up from the door opening. The bangboo soon fully woke up and hopped down to greet Von Lycaon properly. Seemingly happy from the break of the day’s monotony.
“Good Afternoon 18, may I inquire where Master Belle is?” Von Lycaon spoke as he bowed slightly to greet the excited Bangboo, eyes glancing around hoping to spot the bluenette. “I do hope it’s not too much trouble”
“Eh Nha, Nha.“ (Oh Belle’s in the Staff room). 18 replied before hurrying over to the door and knocking for 6 to open it. Then attempting to “show” Von Lycaon to the door, seeming to have picked it up from Butlerboo.
“Affirmative thank you 18 and 6” Von lycaon spotted Belle seeming to speak with fairy as he entered the Staff Room, his ear picking up Dennies and the next commission. “Ahem, Greetings Master Belle, Fairy” The butler greeted with a small bow.
“Hm it appears my calculations were off by 3% he arrived here about 3 minutes sooner than expected” Fairy’s speaker’s sounded as the AI screen flashed with multiple math calculations. Going by too quickly to really see what the calculations were about.
“Von Lycaon I hope you're doing well, and what pleasure do we owe you for the vist” Belle smiled as she turned off a few monitors before finally turning around to greet the butler of Victoria Housekeeping. “I thought our next commission with you guys wasn’t till next month, a sudden schedule change” Belle asked, pulling out her phone to check over the commission details.
“No, the commission timing is still correct, Master Belle. This visit is of another matter” Von Lycaon assured “Rather this is a more personal request that I need assistance with.” Belle watched as Von Lycaon’s tail moved slightly closer to his prosthetic legs and wagged slightly as if embarrassed. “I am asking for assistance in acquiring reservations for the Shining Star” he explained. “It seems though Victoria Housekeeping has many connections though none are deep enough to get reservations to this establishment.”
“Oh, yeah that place is pretty difficult to get reservations. I heard you need to get one months in advance” Belle hummed before looking Von Lycaon in the eyes. “So that's where you're taking Wise for a date huh” she teased.
“If reservations are what you require I have already entered their reservation lists and added you on the registry” Fairy’s speakers hummed out as a monitor showed a reservation list. “I require a date and time to complete the reservation.”
Von Lycaon’s tail wagged softly at hearing the news. “Perfect, it would be next Friday at 6pm would be the most ideal time.” Though he looked at Belle and knew it wouldn’t be that easy “Now what would you require for such services.” Knowing that Belle wouldn’t want Dennies, ‘I dare not think what she would want this time.’ He shivers internally at what she did to Lighter when he came with a request.
“Reservation added, now master Belle what form of payment do we ask in turn?” Fairy’s speaker buzzed out. If Fairy wasn’t an AI on a monitor Von Lycon could already imagine the smirk on their face.
“Hm I think we’ll just have it stored for later Fairy, add it to the favors list and make sure to keep a recording of Von Lycaon’s word about it” Belle smiled before skipping up to the therian. “Now then have a great date with my brother, and remember this.” Her expression no longer seemed as friendly and polite as it normally was. “If you hurt wise I’m sure he wouldn’t mind a new winter coat for christmas” Her eyes seemingly glowed much like the screens surrounding them. “Now then any other business or was that all” Her attitude suddenly became chipper and happy again.
“Ahm, No that is all I required Master Belle” Von Lycaon replied fixing his gloves, though at closer look Belle noticed how Von Lycaon’s ear twitched slightly from her rapid mood change. “I will take my leave so as to not take up any more of your time.” The wolf therian walked out of the room, the metallic legs making soft thuds across the shop floor.
“Current calculation Von Lycaon has a 99.98% chance of having a successful date with Master Wise” A nearby screen showing complex math and multiple documents about date ideas and therian and human relationships. “Though I also have access to Shining Star’s security and can keep tabs on Master Wise if you so allow”
“Of course Fairy I mean you’d probably do that without asking for permission anyways” Bell replied before hopping back on to the couch scrolling through the interknot. “Also Fairy, how long do you think it’ll be before he proposes to Wise?”
“If my recent analysis reports that he will most likely propose during the dinner.” The AI answers before a few screens pull up probability analysis.
“Wow you can really figure all that out from a few dates?”
“Correct, and also having accessed recent jewelry shop footage of Von Lycaon leaving with his tail wagging and having ordered two custom rings”
“Ah there's the real answer,” Belle laughed, already imagining how fast Von Lycaon's tail must be moving after leaving the shop. “Do you perchance hav-”
“Gathering the footage right now Master Belle” Fairy’s speakers cut off Belle before a monitor reveals footage of Von Lycaon leaving the shop, his tail going a mile a minute. “Master Belle, I should note that the restaurant will be having a Valentine's special that day as well.”
“I knew Von Lycaon was always prepared but getting reservations to a restaurant the day before valentine’s day is extra even for him” Belle sighs
“Master Belle, it seems Von Lycaon has now entered a tailor” Fairy shows footage of the wolf therian entering a high end tailor shop.
“IS THAT THE SILK ROSE” Belle shrieks looking at the monitor. “I knew Von lycaon was down bad for wise but I didn’t think it would be to this extent.” Belle then zoomed in onto Von Lycaon and noticed the soft loving gaze he had looking at the suit being tailored. ‘Oh he really does love Wise huh.’
Friday 5:00 PM
‘I knew Von Lycaon said he had a surprise but I didn’t think he’d send me a suit’ Wise stared at the garment. ‘The Silk Rose’ brand label neatly stitched on the interior of the grey suit, barely visible and easy to miss if you didn’t look carefully. ‘This suit cost at least 2 months of our electric bill alone
“Master Wise it would be best to dress before Von Lycaon arrives” Fairy’s voice buzzes out from the proxies phone. “He will be arriving in 10 minutes and 32 seconds.”
“Thanks Fairy” Wise began to undress and try on the suit. ‘He’ll probably take me to get it re-adjusted if it doesn’t fit-’ Wise’s thoughts were cut short after putting on the suit. ‘It’s a perfect fit’ Wise didn’t know whether to be flattered or a bit disturbed. ‘When did he even have the time to-’ “WISE YOUR BOYFRIEND IS HERE!!!” Belle shouted from down stairs.
“I’ll be right down” Wise shouts back before looking back into the mirror. ‘After this date I'm gonna explain what a small gift actually is to him’ A small sigh left wise before smiling and walking down stairs. There waiting at the bottom of the stairs was Von Lycaon wearing a deep crimson red suit.
“My don’t you look good Wise” Belle teases before snapping a few photos “Don’t you agree Von Lycaon?” Turning to look at the wolf therian though Von Lycaon himself didn’t seem to notice.
‘He’s beautiful’ Was all that ran through the wolf’s mind looking at Wise in the perfectly tailored suit. His silver hair and emerald eyes seemed to stand out more in the grey suit. ‘His lithe frame and pale skin almost made him seem like a fae of the moon’ Von Lycaon’s mind supplied staring at the male proxy.
“I must look pretty good if your tail is going that fast Lycaon” Wise smiled at the wolf watching him try and fail to keep his tail from wagging. ‘Just like a puppy seeing his owner after work’ Wise smiled at the comparison. “Haha well Lycaon we should be off, don't wanna be late to our own date.”
Wise walked over to the wolf therian and wrapped his arm around Von Lycaon’s able to feel every muscle even underneath the butler’s own crimson red suit. “I’m excited to see where you booked us for dinner.” Wise leaned up and kissed Lycaon on the side of his snout.
As they left Random Play Von Lycaon put his hand into his pocket and felt a small case and inside it a simple silver ring with a crimson ruby in the center of it. ‘Perfect ring for someone that only deserves perfection’ Von Lycaon smiled as they continued their walk to the Shining Star.
