Chapter Text
It was the end of school year and Sirius was disappointed. All his life before Hogwarts he thought and was told how it was the best school in the world. The world outside a window quickly passed by before his eyes.
It disappointed him so much. History class was teached by a ghost which was stuck in the goblin wars. There wasn't any class about magical world to help the children raised in the muggle world. Then don't be suprised if they don't know the traditions or costoms. The flying class was terrible too. The broomsticks were so old and dangerous. Controlling them was struggle even for him and he's good at flying, maybe not better than Regulus but still better than others. Except maybe for James. And his sorting...
"Sirius? Are you alright?" asked James, "you're awfully quiet." one of his friends he met on the train ride on the start of his first year. "Yeah! I'm good." Sirius flashed his signature smile that he was started being known for. His friends weren't so convinced.
Remus doesn't like how Sirius use to hide his thoughts and emotions behind his masks. 'Everyone has secrets, even me... Especially me.' thought Remus.
"Sooo... How do you plan to spend the hols, lads?" Asked nervously Peter. "We are visiting some grand-aunt of some kind. I really don't want to. I would rather clean the lavatories with Filch than visit her. Wait... I take it back!" protested James. Laugher could be heard through the whole train.

"Mistress, Master. Young master is back from school" Sirius overheard the house elf named Kreacher, sadly he didn't heard what was answered.
"Mother. Father." greeted Sirius when he stepped into a gloomy family salon. "Reggie," smiled warmly at his little brother. "Siri" squeaked Regulus back, eyeing their parents.
"Sirius." said curtly Orion, standing by the windows with his back to his children. Their mother didn't even looked up from a letter she was reading. "Lord Black is going to visit us." she informed them with her eyes still on the letter.
Sirius hated how they didn't even acknowledge him. He was their son. It wasn't his fault not getting into the slitherin. Besides most people in there were pompous pureblood maniacs. They didn't even follow their stuck up traditions.
"Sirius Orion. You are going to be on your best behavior. Do you understand?" she growled lowly. He didn't like her tone. It promised danger. "I will not hear how you talked back or was disrespectful to the Lord Black." She finally looked up from the letter. Bering her gray as silver daggers eyes into his own similar pair.
"Yes, mother." He saw how his father slightly turned from the window. "Both of you are dismissed till the dinner. Leave. I don't want to see you till it's mealtime." Orion looked at his wife as she dismissed their children. He saw the look in her eyes when she looked at their eldest.
The sound of closed door marked the departure of the children. "Love..." sighed Orion. "Must you...?" "Yes! I must! He should be in the slytherin. The family reputation is in shambles." she barked sharply back. "Hmm. It doesn't make sense. Even if he wasn't supposed to be in the slytherin, it was impossible for him to end up in the griffindor." thought Orion out loud.
Welburga had look of suprise all written on her face. 'It's bit amusing. It takes a lot for her to lose control over her mask.' he thought privately. "Did father write why he's visiting us?" asked Orion. "No. He only wrote that he's going to talk with Sirius. About what, that, I don't know." was the answer to his question.
