Work Text:
“Fan! Shit! I can’t… It just won’t go..!”
Kevin’s trying to hold back his laughter, as Jakob wrestles with the tent (and the tears… ).
“I set it up,” Axel yells over the sound of the river. No help coming from that way.
“All you did was open the bag!” Jakob protests.
“And? I still set it up!” Axel laughs, and turns back to collecting river water.
“It doesn’t… It literally cannot get any smaller! Christ!”
Jakob turns to Kevin, bottom lips sticking out. Kevin sighs, a small fine on his breath, “Watch”
Kevin gathers the tent sides, and what Jakob can only assume is magic happens as the tent is somehow circular and small enough to fit back into the carry case again.
Jakob swears he can hear Axel’s sigh over the sound of the river, even from this far back. He grins and stretches over to gift Kevin a kiss on the check.
Grinning, Kevin lets go of the tent. It immediately pops back up again, and Jakob is literally going to cry. Turning to Kevin again, his bottom lip wobbling.
“That only works once!” Kevin says, trying to hold back his laughter.
“So does folding the tent up!”
