"You're an idiot." Willow stated, wrapping up the deep, still bleeding scratch on Player's arm with gauze. "Why the fuck did you think it would be a smart idea to fight a hoard of infected by yourself? Without a weapon, might I add."
"Because I'm immune?" Player scoffed, rolling her eyes. She winced loudly when Willow tugged on the gauze harshly. "What the fuck?"
"Don't act smart with me." Willow ordered, shooting Player a disapproving look. She loosened the gauze so it was loose enough to not hurt, but still tight enough to keep the wound protected. "...Please don't do that again. Those things can do a lot more than infect you."
"Awww, you do care about me! How cute."
"Shut up." retorted Willow, standing up off of the floor. She held out her hand to help Player up, too. She accepted.
Once she was back on her feet, Player shook her limbs, as they'd grown stiff from being in the same position for too long. Willow looked her up and down. "And you know I care about you."
"What was that?" Player asked smugly, meeting Willow's gaze.
"Don't make me repeat myself." Player raised her hands in mock defence, stifling a laugh and shaking her head in amusement. Willow couldn't stop the corners of her own mouth from turning upwards into a smile, matching Player's expression. She carefully reached out to take Player's injured arm, bringing it up to her lips and placing a gentle kiss over the gauze where the scratch was.
"Softie."
"Alright then." Willow said, dropping her arm and turning to walk away.
"No, wait!"
Willow smirked, slowly crossing her legs, spinning back around to face Player. "Yes?" Player held her gaze for a couple moments, before letting a frustrated groan fall past her lips. She stomped over to the taller woman, grabbing the collar of her jacket and pulling her in for a rough kiss.
