El tiempo tormentoso

Summary:

Elnina and Lanino think about their relationship with Rouxls

Work Text:

Elnina was horror struck. To think, her radiant sunbeam could do this to her! Her heart was broken, her stormy emotions a hurricane in her chest as a thunderstorm of tears poured from her face. They'd been broken up for less than an hour and somehow, already dating someone else! The fact that she was also dating the flat-assed duke of puzzles was irrelevant. She was only in it for him! But he needed another person to make their love rainbow? Oh her aching heart! She wished they had just stuck together! Stupid lightners and ruining a good thing with all the stress they brought.

"Elnin-eth, your loveth hast arriveth," Rouxls Karrd called from outside her dressing room. Heavens no! Make him leave her alone to bask in the misery of losing her dearest sun! How could Lanino believe they needed a third? If they wanted to involve an annoying third party in the mix, Tenna was right there! Equally desperate for attention and at least he had a decent ass! Even if that was partially thanks to his massive size making it seem bigger. His proportions weren't nearly as good as that old mail guy. Oops, better not even think of him. If Tenna knew she did that he would get glooby all over again and make everything so much worse.

"Oh my radiant sun! My dry biscuit!" She sobbed, laying her head onto the vanity of her dressing room. "I don't want a third! Why couldn't we just be happy together?!" Another knock at the door. Elnina threw a shoe at it.

"My sweeteth, doth thou needeth comforting?" Elnina hoped Tenna would get rid of this guy. Maybe he would turn to stone soon and give her back her sunshine. She never should have agreed to a third!
Lanino was in similarly dire straits, sitting in *his* dressing room bawling his eyes out over his vanity. How could his dewdrop hook up with that, with that... FASHION FAUX PAS!

Of course, he himself had agreed to enter this arrangement with Rouxls; but that was only because his sweetest rain wanted to! He would have *never* agreed if not for Elnina wanting to!

Tears ran down the sides of his face and onto the script paper before him. The ink bled and smudged under the endless downpour, just giving him *another* reason to be upset. Now he would have to get another!

The only one with a copy of the script was Elnina. But he surely could not ask *her*, could he? She was probably out... gallivanting with that *cad* Rouxls. Oh, how it got his blood boiling.

Maybe he would give them a piece of his mind. He didn't need a man, he didn't need *Rouxls*, and he surely didn't need *Elnina*!
Lanino stomped through the halls of TV world, searching everywhere for his stormy cloud. At last, he reached the green room and saw her cloud hair peeking over the back of a couch. He spotted the script on the arm of the couch next to her walked up behind her as quietly as possible.

Lanino slid next to the couch and tried to quickly grab the script off of the couch. As soon as his hand touched the script, he recoiled in surprise. The script was wet. He looked up to see Elnina crying up a literal storm.
"Elnina, why are your clouds so stormy?" Surely she had no reason to be upset. After all, she'd moved on so quickly.

"I'm not stormy. I'm just... sprinkling. For the sake of the crops. That's all." She redirected, despite the fact that TV World was not exactly known for its agriculture.

"Well... I was kind of hoping... you were sad." Lanino mentioned.

"Why would you ever say such a thing?" Lanino's crying turned to anger. "Is it because you just can't bear to see me happy?"

"What - no! I was hoping that you were sad because you wanted things to go back to the way that they were." He admitted, feelings reflecting back out into the world like the stage lights upon his skin.

"Wait... you were thinking that too?" Elnina asked, eyes getting all big and puppy-dog-esque.

A flash of light appeared behind the couch, distracting them. "I heard the word 'two-eth'! Doest thou needeth a thirds?! Oh, wait, it is you two-eth! Thou already hast a third." Rouxls climbed onto the back of the couch, lying down it sideways and glancing down at the weather duo sexily.

"Wait... were you going to cheat on us?" Lanino asked, horrified.

"It's not cheatingzeth, we're poly." Rouxls moved his hands in the shape of a rainbow at the word 'poly', like in the Spongebob episode with the cardboard box.

"Well I never agreed to an OPEN relationship, Rouxls-ypoo, I thought that this was a CLOSED throuple!" Elnina advocated for herself.

"Yeah, what she said!" Lanino backed his girlfriend up, putting a hand on her hip.

"Oh... That... mighteth not workethest for ME." Rouxls flipped over on the couch to pose in another position, sexily. "You see-eth, I am... in demandethest. Also I'm already making the beast with two backs King, and... Lancer's girldad." He couldn't just give all that up to be with two minor celebrities. He was the lover of the rulers of TWO dark worlds. ... Okay, former rulers - but still! He couldn't just give up that proximity to power!!!

"Wha - what do you mean you were already in a relationship?!" Elnina freaked out, raindrop attacks forming in the air around her.

"Yeah... and we didn't use a condom." Lanino KNEW he should've asked for protection. Rouxls had cum inside him...

"Oh, well, I have great genetics." Rouxls grinned. "And I'm always on-time with my child support payments."

"How many children do you have?!" Elnina asked, horrified. Fuck, they'd need to get STI-testing. She'd also done it with Rouxls... and she had quit taking her birth control when she'd broken up with Lanino. ... Granted that was only a couple of hours ago, so she hadn't actually missed any doses before - but she didn't WANT a kid with Rouxls Kaard if he wasn't in a committed relationship with her and Lanino.

"Well, if you don't think that polyamory is going to work out, as much as it pains me to say it... I'll just have to break up with you!" He fell backwards dramatically, unimpressive ass flat against the top of the couch's back.

"Good riddance!" Elnina jeered.

"Yeah, we don't need you! We're happy together as just us two!" Lanino added.

"I will remember our timeth together fondley, mine paramours!" Rouxls disappeared into another flash of light, practically blinding the weather duo... or should they say, weather couple.

"Did you really mean what you said? About us being happy together, just us two?" Elnina asked, tears re-forming on her cheek.

"I meant it, my soft sky!" Lanino leaned in close, holding her hands in his.

"I want to be a couple with just you again, too." Elnina smiled, kissing her moonbeam's knuckles.

"I agree... but first things first, I think we should both get tested for STDs." Lanino suggested.

"I agree, let's go get tested for STDs together!" Elnina smiled, and they walked away into the sunset hand in hand.
