Is it admiration or love?

Summary:

Should this be a oc fic or a reader fic...please tell me...

Basically...toya's classmate sees Akito quite often. They never talked that much...only once before but after talking once i guess ummmmm they start noticing the fact their feelings are feeling less platonic and more romantic. but its like...a denial-ish thing or theyre trying to convince themself its not romantic but really, we all know it is

I was summarising it in general terms but yeah! I originally wrote this with my oc but it can be a reader fic if anyone wants that!

This fic is mostly just collections of akito and said person getting closer over time over the course of diffferent events. I don't have an exact plotline really...if i think of a cute idea i'll write it! I could totally add drama and some angst or complications but Im not entirly sure yet!

This fic is definitely more slice of life and fluffy. Progress might be slow though but...yeah!

Notes:

This is my first fanfic so please bear with me...ahaha..
If you happen to be reading this, hi!
Please feel free to give me any tips or pointers if you want!
Hopefully this prologue is okay...

Chapter 1: Where it started

Chapter Text

Yuki saw Akito quite often. It was whenever he swung by her class, 2-B, to talk with Toya between classes…but it was mostly during break when he came for Toya so they could have lunch together.

That small habit was one of the few reasons he caught her attention at the start of the school year.

She didn’t think much of it at first; he was just hanging out with someone he was close to. That’s all she saw it as initially.

As the school year went on though, seeing him more and more…something in Yuki shifted. She didn’t know when that even happened…she just took more notice of him one day, being more aware of whenever he was in the classroom or around the halls.

The only time she could brainstorm that might have altered her views was that one time he talked to her while waiting on Toya.

Her first impression was—well, obviously—that he was good looking. He also was like a Prince Charming in a sense, undeniably charismatic and polite; it was the kind of attitude that would get girls swooning…and it probably did.

The front he put on kind of threw her off though—she was accustomed to his more…’brusque’ attitude from all the times she watched him interact with Toya.
Regardless, charming or not, Yuki was definitely interested. Maybe more than she cared to admit.

Yuki soon found herself to be a bit excited whenever he showed up in the doorway of the classroom with his stupidly attractive looks…she almost looked forward to it. Maybe it was the hope that she would get to talk with him again.

She even caught herself being more attuned to how she looked during school—not like she wasn’t already carefully maintaining her appearance before her sudden interest. Yuki just felt more aware and self-conscious about the impression she was giving to everyone. Especially Akito.
It’s not like he even talked to her that much. It was only that one time that they actually interacted after all, why should she care so much? She found it annoying how she was acting like some lovestruck fool when she hardly knew anything about the guy.

Yuki thought it was just platonic, she brushed it off as wanting to get to know him better as a schoolmate and friend. Reflecting on her behaviour recently though…she was starting to worry that it might be something more.
