Work Text:
Fu happily sat as Amo walked around him complaining his clothes weren’t right for the event. If you asked him what the event was he wouldn’t remember but all he did remember was Amo ordering him to come and join it with her and to dress up for the occasion. He knew he’d dressed up incorrectly, that said he couldn’t help it, at least that’s what told himself. He just enjoyed being bossed around by Amo a lot.
She was nicer than the others, letting him make mistakes without yelling at him or abandoning him. Sure she had a shorter patience at times but she just pouted or yelled never getting violent with him so a win is a win. It was a way better experience than Zodyl who gave half baked orders or even Jabber who’d want to try new poisons or order him to find some creepy creature or plant to source his new creation from. Amo was clear cut, a perfect person for him to be a minion of. He just couldn’t help but smile as he held Hii closer as Amo laid out some clothes for him to wear.
“Better!” The giver said with a grin having placed out an oversized hoodie with mask patterns on it that matched Hii’s along with it she’d also picked out a set of loose long shorts and a bag she had August make for Hii so he didn’t have to be held. “Now Amo will come back when you finish changing! Let Amo know when you’re done so we can meet Rudo.” She said with a grin. “Amo won’t come in until you call her.” She promised before leaving his room.
Fu couldn’t help but smile as she left. As a boss she always made sure to make him comfortable, even unconsciously making her footsteps louder as she walked away. That had started after he mentioned how some of the bosses he had back before he was a raider seemed to not care if he was comfortable, let alone decent enough for company.
“You somehow found a boss who can tolerate us, aren’t you lucky.” Master Hii hummed to him as he grinned carefully, placing the figure on the bed as he changed out of his original mismatched outfit.
“Mhm! She even treats Master Hii great as well. Amo is one of the best people to be a minion of.” He said with a wide toothless smile as he shimmied on the new hoodie, spinning it around as in his blissed mind he hadn’t realised it was backwards.
“Good at least she makes you less pathetic and usually gives clear orders. Now hurry up and finish changing. I want food from the event.” Hii grumbled out as Fu nodded, changing into the shorts laid out and grabbing the bag to place Hii in. Giving his vital instrument an affection pat on the head.
He glanced back at his room practically skipping along as he pressed his choker to call Amo to inform her he was ready. Even if it wasn’t the healthiest situation of Fu this was right where he wanted to be.
