oki this is bcz I NEED this ship to be semi-popular
so here you go folks
Suzie :D
- oh god… she’s French… (and speaks it semi-well) (sometimes just speaks in it as a joke)
- has picked up some basic Japanese from Inari, but doesn’t try to speak it because she’s worried about mispronouncing something or sounding weird
- she makes little gifts for her friends all the time (food, trinkets, jewelry, whatever) (gift giving is her love language)
- very big fruit enjoyer (the one kind of sweetness she can taste, even if it’s faint) (her favorite is strawberry)
- one French person that doesn’t like baguettes
- she does like macarons tho (not macaroons there’s a difference and if you use the wrong one I will silently judge you) but can’t often get them :<
- she occasionally dyes the tips of her pink
- she/her and pan :D
- if she were to have a team for battling, it’d consist of: aromaflora (with runestone), pyromander, pancabear, hopogard (yes, she was just as surprised as the doodle when that egg hatched), mintiger, and bun-shi (also, she would give all of them names and head scratches)
- basically always has cereal, not sure why
- very flexible. like to the point it freaks people out
- also did gymnastics when she was younger
Inari :]
- she/they and sapphic
- speaks Japanese
- very dry sense of humor when she’s comfortable with someone
- their mask is styled after a kitsen, as it’s her starter and partner doodle. When they become a full-fledged shinobi she’ll get a vixalor mask
- also, their kimono had a single tail at the beginning of the story, but gains more as she trains and improves (they’ll get 9 when she’s a proper shinobi)
- actually let me just add my stylized design
- nvm can’t figure out how
but occasionally wears a light blue one, patterned with pink cherry blossoms around the bottom (a chu-furisode) with an obi knot that’s name I forgot :< (but it’s very complex) - absolutely a fan of ginkgo trees (yes this is ginkgo propaganda)
- is very particular about who can see their face—it’s only Suzie, her mentor, and their parents
- would get along well with Katana from PHIGHTING! if they ever met
- Inari is a fake name, and her real name is Tamamizu (Suzie calls them Tam for short lol) (if you’re curious about why, here you go: https://rmda.kulib.kyoto-u.ac.jp/en/item/rb00013653/explanation/otogi_01)
- their kitsen is named Faiaraito (ファイアライト), which translates to firelight :D
